I have 7 people in my home doing work before we move, and I asked them if they would like coffee. Most of them said yes. So I made 16 cups.... that was starting at 8AM - 4 hours ago..... guess how much coffee I still have? 14 cups.... and I drank the 2 that are gone.

Feel like coming over and chatting over coffee?

I would love a Keurig, but I'd be so broke if I had one. I'd spend all of our money on the cups. That said, I probably drink too much coffee!

My DH was given a Keurig and he loves it. You're right -- those cups are $$$. He also has a Senseo. Cheaper than the Keurig and the coffee is too.

I just recently learned that you don't have to use those cups, and that you can use your own coffee.... Next time we need a coffee maker I may go the Keurig route no that I know that.

I'd like to know too. My mom just got one of those for Christmas but I believe hers is the Mr Coffee brand. It uses the Kuerig cups though.

YES, you can use your own coffee (and it tastes WAY better in a Keurig) as long as you have the little filter adapter. I used it this morning as I am waiting for a K-cup delivery tomorrow. You get a good deal on your fist order (two boxes free) if you register your Keurig with them and discounts on future orders.

LOVE my Keurig, I will never go back to a regular coffeemaker again.

They sell the adapter thing at Walmart and probably most anywhere that has the machines. You just put your own coffee in and put it in the machine. I think it costs around $15-20. Totally worth it!!!
