Has anyone used the Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets? They're on sale at Wal-Mart for $2.50 for a package of 20 (says down from $6.97) -- I thought they'd be perfect for my soon-to-be college student. I'd like to know if they really work. They'd also be great for laundry on trips -- I took liquid laundry detergent when we went on a one-week cruise -- worked but was very messy (fortunately didn't leak anywhere, but could have).

I got them as a free sample, they worked great. I would definitely take them on trips if I thought I migh have to do laundry. They were very easy to use.

Just used my sample on vaca in DC. They worked great I will surely pick up more for that price.

Ours worked pretty well. The dryer sheet part of it wasn't wonderful, but you could always bring a couple of dryer sheets with you, too, and throw them in when you put your stuff in the dryer. For that price, it's a deal!

We really like them for traveling - we keep some in our Owner's Locker. Keep an eye out for sales - we got them at CVS last year on B1G1 and then with a coupon, I think we got 2 boxes for something really cheap - like $3 or $4.

I hope my WM has them at that price. I used some samples I had when we went to Disney earlier in the month and really liked them. Certainly easier then taking along powder or liquid.

Great for vaca but I would not reccomend using them on a regular basis. I actually returned 3 packages because they caused my clothes to fade like all heck.
Great for Disney though.:goodvibes

We used the "free and clear" ones on our Disneyland trip. I had trouble finding them since my hubby needs the "free" kind. Found them at CVS. They worked great! Bonus, they made my luggage smell good too :thumbsup2

used them this year at college. loved them!! worked great, easy to use (and no spills), lend easily to friends who run out... :cool1:

I ordered the free samples for my upcoming Disney trip in August. I had samples sent to every house in my family :rotfl: but still haven't used them... sounds like they will work well enough for the trip..

I've used them and they are pretty good. I find regular detergent to be cheaper though.

, Did you make a comment/ complaint to purex about that? Now I am scared to use the sample I got in the mail

we use them and love them! i wish they were on sale like that at our walmart! going to check tomorrow though. when you get the free samples you also get a $1 off coupon.

I really like them, in fact I find it is alot of soap so I cut them in two. And for the other half that does not have the fabric softner I use vinegar. I works out great. Jo

I like them, but the fabric softener part kept getting caught in my lint trap. I was terrified it would start a fire.

I put them in the camper for convience, I am taking them to Disney in Sept. I really liked them!
