Anybody used Charter Travel

Just wondering if anyone has booked with Charter Travel before? Got a quote from them for next October, 2 weeks in a 1 bed at OKW, including flights, tickets, DDP and $200 gift card for £6093.

The price from WDTC is £3983 for accommadation, tickets and DDP which means we'd be paying roughly £703 per person for flights; more than I'd like but we're going during the October half term when prices seem to be on the high side. I know we could pay less if we went indirect but with our son's autism that would be less than ideal.

So what do people reckon, good deal?

We are looking ot go the same time, 24/25 oct 2015, 2ad 2ch. What airline have they quoted you?
Last year we went and we got flights for the 4 of us for £2500 in the VA sale. i was hoping to get something like that again for next year.
I am budgeting for £3000 tho.

Sorry, yeah that's for 3, 2 adults, 1 child. Flights are with Virgin Atlantic.

Thanks, I might look them up and get a price. Wonder how they will book the flights?
I spoke to a TA today and she advised if a company books with a scheduled airline and when the flights are released 11 month out, if the amount is higher, the customer has to pay the difference!
I've never heard of the company before but hopefully someone on here has!

I used Charter travel in 2011. They were fantastic.

We booked a 4 bed villa with pool/jacuzzi for 4 weeks at southern dunes golf resort in Haines, a convertible car and Virgin flights from Manchester for £80 more than it had cost 2 weeks at animal Kingdom lodge the year before (admittedly we have never seen AKL for that price since .

The prices were coming in way cheaper than DIY or other agents, so much so that my partner was convinced there had to be a catch.

I booked our dates about 16 months out if I remember correctly and they said the same then about the prices (if they go up customer has to pay difference), so I was quite nervous until the flights came out. There was no price increase from our quote when they did.

The rental was straight forward, the villa was immaculate and perfect for us and the catch never did transpire lol

I found them to be very helpful, friendly and efficient and would definitely use them again if the prices etc were right.

I book with them for this year and at the time queried them about the prices going up after booking and they assured me it was a guaranteed price. I pay next week and true to their word it hasn't increased.

They were by far the cheapest and so far are looking the cheapest for next year too!

Good to know about the flight prices. I will check with them. I've email a request for a quote, just waiting to hear back.
