Any teachers or parents out there use a program called Red and Green choices? I am looking for some feedback.
I am at my wit's end with one of my students. I feel like we have tried everything under the sun- behavior charts, visual schedules, workboxes, doing lessons in a different room to minimize distractions. Somebody from the behavior school observed and was able to give us no advice! I have heard of this program from another teacher in the district and am trying to go out and observe it. I'm interested for feedback from those who have used it.
We already use a modified version of it that I combined with one of our BIST lessons. We made a T-Chart of Red and Green green behaviors and the kids gave examples of each. Now if they are not okay I can ask them if they are making a red choice or a green choice and they can tell me. There is a lot more to the program than that, and that si what I am trying to observe and find out about.
