I have been told by many people that the town of Celebration is a very pretty and interesting side trip while in the world. We are thinking of checking it out next visit and am wondering if anyone has ever had dinner at any of the restaurants there?

I hear there is a cute 50s Diner. I am planning on stopping in Celebration on my next visit. I'd love to hear more as well about the food choices. I looked at the website and it was not very informative.

Been to Cafe D'Antonio (Italian) and also the Celebration Town Tavern. Both were quite nice.
And it is an interesting side trip just to check things out--

The Columbia Restaurant serves Cuban and Spanish cuisine. There are several locations in Florida including one at Celebration.
The garbanzo bean soup and snapper alicante are incredible. Always a must-do for my DH and I when we are near one of their locations.

Cafe D' Antonio and Celebration Town Tavrn were the 2 restaurants I have been considering. Can you give any more info on the atmosphere, prices, menus at these places, please? We are also considering looking around Celebration a bit and then heading to Boma(an old favorite). What do you think? It will also be my 50th birthday.

We usually go to Celebration once every trip (so we're there three times a year), usually for lunch rather than dinner. We've been to Cafe D'Antonio, Celebration Town Tavern, and the Market Street Cafe. The Town Tavern and Market Street Cafe are next door to each other and Cafe D'Antonio is across the street from Market Street Cafe, so it's easy to check out all three in just a few minutes.

Cafe D'Antonio is Italian (perhaps obviously). Good flatbreads and the regular Italian fare. We've been there at least three times, quite good each time.

Celebration Town Tavern has classic New England seafood, steaks, and an extensive sandwich menu. We particularly enjoy the fish and chips and I've also enjoyed an excellent reuben sandwich. It's become one of our favorite lunchtime stops.

The Market Street Cafe is a 50s style diner serving American classics (meat loaf, turkey, deli sandwiches). Okay food and service, although we prefer the Town Tavern.

Although we don't eat outside at any of these places, all three offer this option. The outdoor dining area at D'Antonio is pretty small, but both the Town Tavern and Market Street Cafe have large outdoor areas.

That's about it in a nutshell!! Should add that the Tavern has an excellent beer list-99 offerings.
And both of these restaurants have their own Websites--I don't recall the exact link, but if you "Google" both I believe the menus are available on the sites.
And should also add that at Cafe D"Antonio, they were able to accomodate a request--I love Veal Parmagian, but they had none on the menu. But they did have a bone-in veal chop. They "pounded" the veal, took it off the bone, addedd cheese and sauce--and there I had it!!

As a Celebration part timer we frequent all of these places and they all have their high points.

The Tavern is a great bistro type place with, as Uncle said, a great beer list and very friendly staff and great food from french dip sandwich to prime rib.

Cafe D'Antoinio is VERY good. Probably better quality than the Tavern but more crowded and quite typically Italian.

The Market Street Cafe, is a good breakfast and lunch or quick bite place. Again very good service.

Columbia is a great Spanish place with a good following. Always enjoy it.

Sieto is a good sushi place and generally less crowded for those so inclined.

The best however is the restaurant at the Celebration Hotel. The food is absolutely primo. It is very small and reservatiuons are required though.
