Anybody Stay At DVC On Weekends?

Yes we stay for weekends as travelling from the UK we normally stay for a minimum of 11 nights and just can't be done with the hassle of packing, rechecking in, unpacking and being without a room for part of a day!

DH and I are both teachers. Yes, we try to only go Sun-Thurs during our vacation time, but sometimes you just have to splurge and make a weekend trip. That's why we sacrifice space and only reserve studios. It's nice to just get away even if it is for only a short time.

I think that sounds like a nice trip and if my DH surprised me with that I would jump for joy - go for it!!!!

We stay on weekends, and some of our trips are only 3 night weekends. In the early days of our ownership, we would come after DH's work on Friday and have the one night off site and then 2 nights DVC. Now, we will just go to DVC for the Friday - Monday stay. Sometimes, I'm lucky and don't have to go back right away, so I can stay longer.

I'm totally pumped!! Made our DVC ressie for Kidani Village, which I'm sure will be absolutely beautiful. This is going to be great and I'm totally comfortable spending 55 points for a standard view studio (wait listed for Savannah view, but I doubt that will happen since it's opening weekend).

We always do. We stay for 14 nights, so we end up with 4 weekend nights. We don't like moving resorts or paying cash for the nights (unless it's not available for points).
