Anybody remember going to Dogpatch,USA

Altho its been shuttered for 15(at least) years, a clue in a crossword puzzle made me think of this place. I remember going many times as a child. such a beautiful setting there in the Ozarks. Of course by todays amusement park standards, it wouldnt be highly regarded. Anybody else?

YES, it's not far from my hometown. It actually is trying to make a comeback, not as a theme park, but as some sort of convention center.

When I was 2 or 3 we were in the petting zoo type part with the goats and my brother put food in my back pocket and I thought the goat was going to attack me, well it was rooting at my back pocket. I still get a little gittery when in a petting zoo, even though that was 35 years ago.

Absolutely remember going there. It's only about 45 mins from my hometown. Man Hwy 7 is one rough road. As a child I would love to go to Dogpatch and onto Branson but the Hwy 7 road made me so sick.
