Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

Even if its not there I'm still glad I checked. She just added the new deal for disney direct..."free shipping on costumes"

My mom makes my kids costumes every year and this year my daughter wanted to be minnie so she could wear her costume to the *world* (no offense to anyone that's made this purchase BUT the costumes at disney are around $50 and though they look beautiful on the racks, they are of very poor quality and generally don't wash well....so that's why we get all of our disney costumes from ma).

Anyhow...I found some Minnie shoes on disney direct discounted to $7.99 b/c they're down to two sizes and one just happens to be my bigfooted DD's size...but I wasn't willing to order them with the $6 shipping fee...but just bought them w/the free shipping....SOOOOO

Thanks Mary! By the time I figured that one out on my own (I get email notices but I hate sifting thru my email so I pretty much avoid it), her size would have probably been gone. I Mousesavers

I just felt I'd said all I needed to say, to calm down the rampant speculation that took place over the weekend, primarily here on the DIS.

Cheerbop I haven't been in four years either! (tho we've been to DL twice since...does that count?) My kids keep calling WDW DL b/c they were too young to remember (2 and 5). SO, it's going to be like going for the first time all over again...and they've never been at christmas (and I've only been once and that was 13 years ago!) Ah...the magic of christmas mingled with the pixie dust of the *world*

Just called my AAA agent, and she had no idea about a possible package. She was going to call Disney today and tomorrow and Thursday to check for us. I'll let you know if I hear any details.

I got an email from Disney regarding the package deal. I've been trying to post a message about it all morning (tried 4 times), but for some reason I can't post the message about it. I'm thinking maybe I'm not supposed to since the email came from Disney only for me (you know, how it says "this promotion is only for (my email address)". I wasn't going to post the pin code number, just that I got an email.
It's $440 for 4 nights/5 days. Includes 5 day MYW basic ticket. Good until 12/19/05.

Is this even a good deal? Or is this just what's been advertised all along and it's just worded differently. I already have a AAA MYW w/dining booked for December...I'll have to call Disney to see if this email package is better than my AAA package.

I called Disney yesterday to ask about the new package. A wonderful cm told me that nothing was coming out in the next few days. She then said to hang on she was going to check some things out. She came back and said that something was slated to come out mid October! I was shocked when she said that they are given info. up front, just a limited amount. The date was not specified as of yet. I have always been told by every cm that they have no info untill that morning of the new discount release! She continued to tell me that they are given the info. but it's treated as confidential information. So, it looks like we will keep waiting!!

It is not uncommon for them not to show a pin associated with your name, or not to be able to pull up the offer with the pin # if you call on it the same day you receive the email. Their system hasn't always updated yet. sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes it's not till the next day.

I spoke with our sales manager about something totally unrelated to this or any other offer today and she didn't mention anything changing with this. I didn't ask either though. So as far as I know the $999 offer is still set to release on Thursday. That could change 10 times between now and then though.

Thanks, Lollipop Mom! I emailed my AAA agent about the possibility of a package deal, and she had no idea. She was going to check on it. Hopefully it will be released and be a better deal for us at the GF. If not, I'm thrilled with my 15% discount and the dining plan.
