Itunes uses an XML (RSS) feed to provide a bookmark of where to download the shows from. The shows are downloaded from the DIS servers (wdwinfo.com). If Itunes does not have that bookmark for the show, then Itunes does not have a roadmap on how to find the new podcasts when they come out. The flash player on the DIS will play what every is uploaded into it's "player directory." The flash player will almost always be the first to have the show published due to not having to generate an extra file. To make the RSS feed for Itunes and those us that use a RSS news reader, One of the folks at the DIS has to generate a new RSS feed with the new data (normally this can be done with running a script or a small RSS feed generator). Until that RSS in updated, Itunes will not see the new podcast as a "for Itunes" podcast. Following Jeff's instructions will get the show on on your Iphone/Ipod , but it will put it in with your regular mp3's and not with your normal podcasts.
Hope that helps!

Has there been an email show since 11/19?
I checked hte XML feed that iTunes uses - definitely no email program since 11/19 in there.
The email show button under "This Week's Show" on the main site also links to the 11/19 show.
Direct link to this weeks e-mail show -

I don't use iTunes to collect my podcasts. Instead I use Google Reader. If you already have an account with Google (gmail, wave, calendar, docs, etc) you can use that username and password to sign in. If not it is free. Just add a subscription to the following RSS address:

Whenever there is a thread about not getting the podcast I can always get it from this address. The DIS may use feedburner for their iTunes feed, I'm not sure. If they do feedburner had a couple of issues last week.
