Anybody know how fast the Moonlight Magic nights book up?

I planned on registering promptly at 9:00 for the Epcot Moonlight Magic event this Wed. but there is something I need to do for work at 9:00. Does anybody know how fast the events book up? If I can't do it until say 11:00 will I be shut out?

Typhoon Lagoon seemed to go within a few hours. Theme park events typically take longer. Probably higher capacity.

I called MS to ask how fast they've been filling and they said MK took a few days bcuz it's bigger but that AK & TL were both sold out within about 3 hours!! My cousin who is also going to be there for the first EP with us got an email yesterday evening inviting them to book this morning and included a link but I did not get the email. (I am hit & miss with receiving Disney emails.) I have been nervous as heck about it and just hope at 9:00 I can pull over & book it. But with the track record of Disney's IT dept I am worried the site will wig out on me at 9:00 with the booking frenzy overload they can never handle on opening day. GOOD LUCK!!

Yup... anything with Disney IT appears to be a gamble on any given day. GOOD LUCK TO YOU TOO!

For which date? I was able to log in at 9:02 on my phone and after a couple of errors & refreshing book by 9:14 for the July 16th one. My cousins DH however didn't log in until 9:15 and the inventory for that date was gone already! So upset as we were planning to attend together. Had I known it would be gone THAT FAST I would have booked them with us as our guests. Really upsetting. I tried to call member services 2x to see if they hold slots back to release on the 20th and got busy signals both times. Finally got thru on the 3rd try but the wait was 45 min. A 15 minute sellout is just insane!!!

We registered for Aug 15. So sorry that it worked out this way! Hard to believe that it would sell out in 15min... ... hope you can get through to MS and that some have been held aside.

That sad. I hope you can get an adjustment. We will be trying for a DHS date.

I was able to register for Aug. 15. My advice is to double check both your member number and reservation number... have those ready to go. I hit the button right at 9 AM but have heard others who actually got in a few minutes earlier.

Honestly, I feel like I got lucky... I know many who did everything right and did not... that seems very unfair.

I tried TL and had the form error out with my reservation. Called MS said sorry it is now sold out but they open it to all members in a few weeks. So I got on within 30 mins and it was gone for all members. You win some you lose some, but I would plan on finding a way to be on the second it opens.

We will be trying for the one that’s scheduled first week in oct.

I don’t have the warm and fuzzies. Can’t imagine they’ll offer as many as MK, more akin to Epcot scenario if not worse with TS expansion
