We've been having trouble staying connected to the internet since last Friday, and "coincidentally" have been getting pop-ups from Norton that it has deleted a virus. The pop-ups kept coming back until I killed them using the task manager. For some reason I didn't connect the two.
Bottom line, we had a virus and I think that was causing our connection problems. It may have started after I clicked on a DIS link (the one with the car and the ghost that popped out.)
If you have this problem, make sure you update your Norton before you run the scan. Our live update wasn't working, so the first time I tried running a scan it didn't catch it.
I think we're rid of it now. Keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
