Anybody Have Issues With Swan???

Made room ressies at The Swan for June 2008 and got a great rate of $194.00per night!!! Usually stay at a Disney-owned hotel but we decided to try The Swan because of walking distance to Epcot, MGM and Boardwalk. Has anyone has any problems checking in or getting a Town Car to and from the Swan??? Anybody have ANY problems at all with this resort?? I have plenty of time to cancel ressies, but just want to make sure I am well-informed. Also, do The Swan rooms have refrigerators in the rooms???

I've stayed at the Swan and/or Dolphin many times over the years - they are great resorts. You will love the heavenly beds - especially after a long day at the parks.

There is a mini-bar in the room that is a refridge - I'm not sure of the current policy about emptying it for your use. Could be a one time fee to have it emptied for use.....

The Swan is a great resort, I've stayed there once and had no problems at all. Location is awesome. I think you will be very happy there.

We've stayed there twice and the only issue I have is that I can't get there as often as I'd like! But I guess that's not the Swan's fault. We had 2 great stays there. The location is terrific, the beds are wonderful, the pool was really nice. I have toyed with future stays at the Disney hotels so we could use Magical Express. But we work our dates so we can get the teacher rate at the Swan which makes it a real deal. I just can't pass up the location - able to walk to Epcot and MGM and strolling the Boardwalk. The bus service for MK, AK and DTD was fine when we were there. I know they have a parking fee now (but we don't rent a car - we use a town car to and from MCO) and I believe they charge for internet access (which is not a deal breaker for us). Enjoy your stay!
