I used my AMEX card to pay for the Royal Pacific deposit and a fraudulent charge has appeared on my credit card. It was for just under $500. I used my AMEX card to pay for the Royal Pacific deposit and a fraudulent charge has appeared on my credit card. It was for just under $500 for luggage ordered from Macy's on the Internet and then returned to the Orlando Macy store for a gift card. I know it could be unrelated, but wondered if anyone has experienced anything similiar when they booked their hotel?

Nope I never have but I sure would have AX look into that! Did you make the reservation online or did you call? Sorry that happened, hope it was not Universal related.

Happened to me a few years ago after a trip to Disney. About a month after we returned there were charges at 3 Orlando area supermarkets totaling $800. I called AMEX and the charges were removed. My husband thinks the numbers were copied when we had dinner at Boma and the waiter took a long time returning with the card. I recently read about a credit card theft ring operating in Orlando.

AMEX reversed the charge and they are looking into it. I called for the reservation.

I just had to cancel 3 cc because somebody got into my Amazon account. I think this kind of stuff is getting more common.

Very interesting. I just had to cancel my Southwest Airlines card because of a fraudulent charge. I have only had the card for a couple of months and put my HRH deposit on it. I wonder if they have an issue there?
