Did anyone durning the scramble this morning get an AP rate for any dates at POP Century?
I was told not availablity for my dates and ask her to try the BBY code (room-only) and she said yes but perferred building I said no thanks and switched to Sports for $59 ap rate. I was just wondering if POP was so full that they didn't have many or any room available for AP rates.
I'm not bummed because I will stay at POP in Sept before staying 7 long wonderful nights at my new home Saratoga Springs Resort.

The what if's are eating at me. What if I got thru sooner....what if different dates by a day or two...

I know leave it alone and move on but I was so excited about POP.

Anyone else feeling the same way?

Lori

I got PC for 6/18 thru 6/29 for $59/night. We have 2 rooms at this rate. We had the Disney Visa rate for one room at POFQ but decided to get 2 rooms as we are now bringing my 2DDs friends. They guaranteed the rooms connecting since we have 2 adults and 4 kids.

I'm thinking about switching back to POFQ but my DH wants PC.

I should add that I called about 8:10 this morning and got through about 8:50am, so I didn't call first thing at 7:00am.

I got Pop for May 8th and then got it for May 22nd also.

Also got POP for 2 rooms from June 25-29 at 59. Didnt get to call until after work at 4:00.

I got POP for $59 for the stay I reserved back in August.....YAY...

I'll try again, I'm sure alot of people upgraded with the MOD being $74. AL least I know some were available.

Thanks guys,

Lori

I was quoted $59 for POP; June 8th-21st, but elected to upgrade to a moderate for $74....I have been AP holder since 96' and these are the best AP rates i've ever gotten...paid $84 per night for CSR in june 2002 and thought that was the best deal ever, but this years rates are even better....

We got a ressie for Pop--yesterday-- with the AP rate for May 29. That is the Saturday during Memorial weekend. 2 rooms for 1 night til we move over to the BWV for 5 nights.

We have POP with the AP rate for 5/12 - 5/16. We are paying for the preferred room and have 3 adults, so we are paying $88 a night for all that plus tax. Not too shabby

Hi, I got POP for Spring Break @ an AP rate of $82.51 including tax a night :teeth: !

Can't wait, 26 days left to WDW :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

We got the AP rate ($59/night) for 14 nights starting June 5 for 2 rooms. Called yesterday, March 9 at 9:00 am and was on hold for 30 minutes before getting through.

Got AP at Pop for June 5th and then again on the 11th. (Staying at BWV in between.) Called on the 9th early in the morning.

I called at 10am on 3/9 and was unable to get the AP rate at Pop Century or ASMo for 5/22 to 5/29 (7 Nights). No rooms available at either resort at the AP Rate.

I was able to get 3 rooms at Pop Century for the same time period on the Disney Visa Rate of $69 instead.

So....I could either stay at ASSports or ASMusic for $59 per night....or pay $69 per night for Pop Century. We went with Pop Century.

I'll keep checking for AP rates, though.....

speedyf :)

I forgot to mention I had Pop already booked with the Visa code, they just credited me the difference and my ressie numbers stayed the same.

I called CRO today 3/10 and took the preferred rooms with AP rate for May 13-16. So its $30 more then Sports not a big deal. We really wanted to stay at POP and I'm willing to give the extra $10 /night considering its still only $69 per night instead of $99.

I'm glad I switched back to POP...and

ktglads...I'm there when you are..May 13-16 for me. ALso preferred room. Maybe I'll see you running for coffee in early AM.

Now if the calendar would just move a tad faster.

Lori

I would keep calling back.I think you will get a standard view if you keep checking.

I joked with the male CM today and asked if the dust has settled yet and he laughed and saidsome but the housekeepers will be busy.

He said that is was extremely busy yesterday with all of the ocdes that came out at once. They (other cm's and him) were wondering why they didn't stagger them a bit.

I will check back and see if standard opens up if not thats ok...I might just like the preferred section. I'm there three nights before going to BWV.

Have a good night everyone.
