So, Top Chef began on Bravo tonight after the Project Runway finale.

Anybody else watch it?

Interesting start so far and the cast seems like they could be fun to watch. My favorite cotnestant so far is Cynthia, the 52 year old woman. She is absoltuely hysterical! I loved her crazy rice! I doubt she'll last much longer though.

Also, the host was weak. Very attractive, but seems inexperienced. She is Billy Joel's wife though, and boy she looks young! (I looke dit up, I think she is 24, possibly 25)

Any other fans?

Never heard of it before - what is it? A reality show along the lines of Fox's Hells Kitchen last year?

I only made it through Project Runway, 11 was past my bedtime!!! LOL I plan to watch it next week and then Blow-out returns the next week!!

It is a new Bravo reality show from the same people who brought us Project Runway.

It is similar to Hell's Kitchen (one of my favorite reality shows of 2005!), but doesn't really center on 1 big-name chef trashing the cotnestants. Its kind of like Hell's Kitchen crossed with Project Runway.

This week it was on at 11pm, but starting next week it'll snuggle into PRoject Runway's timeslot of Wednesdays at 10pm. And in true Bravo fashion, it looks like its going to be repeated many times throughout the week.

I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. :sunny:

The comments about the "wine" guy were really funny.

I hope so because I really wanted to watch it but I couldn't make it past 11. I stand a better chance of watching it at 10.

I finally got to see it today and I really enjoyed it. I, too, liked "Crazy Rice" Cynthia--she was hilarious. I was pretty surprised to see that she wasn't in the bottom three so maybe she'll be around for entertainment value for a few more weeks. I think the guy who was booted (Ken?) was kicked off more for his attitude than for his food. To me, the one who cooked the shrimp/vegetable stir fry dish (sorry, I don't remember names yet) should have gotten the boot. Sand in the kale--that's the end as far as I'm concerned.

This show is going to make me very hungry!

I was finally able to watch it, thats the great thing about shows on cable, if you miss the first show, don't worry, it will be on 10 more times!! I loved the Crazy Rice lady! I was glad the see the first guy leave, he would be hard to take!

We are going to catch the 4 o'clock showing of it (sounds like we are going to the theater..lol) so we can check it out. We really enjoyed Hell's Kitchen so we should like this too. :) Plus the Richmond newspaper had a good review about the show the other day.
