Anybody else stuck at work?

This day is gonna be miserable. Our manufacturing facility is closed today. Shipping dept is closed today. Customer service phones are quiet. We have an office full of people with nothing to do. Or course the CFO and owner take the day off and informed me not to let anyone go home early. What a bunch of jerks!!

Yup I'm at work, and our system is down. I can't do anything! At least we still have internet. I've been here since 5AM so at least I get to leave at 1:30.

I'm at work too and like you, all the big wigs are out. I am taking it upon myself to close the office early today. Thank goodness for the Internet or I would really be losing my mind.

Yep...barely anyone is even here at the office today--except, of course, for the faithful Admin Assistant! (That would be me).

We usually get non-stop phone calls, and I haven't had one yet this morning.

It's going to be a loooong day.

Esp. because my entire family is out hitting up the stores on Michigan Ave. Darn them!

I'm here at work. It will be very quiet since most people have taken off, and most of the public thinks we're closed. This is a great day to be here!

Count me in.......I'm stuck here at work too. On wednesday my boss (who is on vacation) let the one guy I work with leave at 2 and let me leave at 3. Kind of unfair but it was still an hour earlier then I normally leave.

So today will probably be the same thing...or I won;t get to leave early at all and he will let the other guy leave when he wants....AGH
