Anybody else starting a diet today?

I am starting today too! Like another poster, I reactivated my Weight Watchers online info and excited to get on track!

I need to lose about 25 pounds...

I did the treadmill for 30 minutes today and will try to do that for 4 days this week.

I also printed up some WW recipes that I am going to make this week...

I started LAST Monday with the WW Monthly Pass AND eTools for $39.99. I LOVE the eTools! They are making tracking your points and "playing around with them (like figuring out that you can get 13 mini rice cakes - not just 10 - for 2 points) so easy.

The novelty may wear off in the future, but for now, it is keeping me on track and happy with the program.

If you are looking for a weight loss program, I would highly recommend it. ::yes::
 
Just did my work-out and so glad for the post encouraging to start!! Keep it up and back away from the snacks...just back away, and no one will gain!!!!!
 
UPDATE:
Well, it is now almost 6:30 here, and I'm glad to say that I've been really good today.
I've had no soda, no chips, no sweets, and only two pretty healthy meals. I've also had 3 glasses of water so far. I did a little excersizing, and plan to do some more a little later on.
Plus, I haven't had a headache yet.
So all in all, not too bad a day for my first day. :thumbsup2
How's everyone else doing?
 

I didn't make any good food choices today, but I did stay within my daily points for WW. That's a start anyway.:thumbsup2
 
Doing pretty good... got chicken baking in the oven with broc and brown rice with it.

I do need more water.

And BTW... the Doritos are NOT calling my name (I finished them this weekend ;) )
 
I do WW and became Lifetime in 2003. I sort of fell off the wagon this Christmas and picked up 5+ pounds and want to get them off before they turn to 10 pounds. I am back to seriously counting points today and I will get this weight back off before the sweatshirts come off.

Ok its a new day for new starts( if you need one)! I'm starting with some exercise and a good breakfast. Noticed didn't "graze" as much yesterday but it wasn't easy; more of a habit at this point. But the exercise really did make me feel better. As High School Musical says - We're all in this together!

I'll join you as well -- I've gained about 6 or 7 pounds during this winter doldrums.....my body is always cold and I can't produce heat so I've been nibbling on one too many crackers and cookies (girl scouts) and other things. Haven't jogged in so long too.

GOTTA GOTTA GOTTA stick to a good diet and portion control!
 
I am going to jump on the treadmill as soon as my son gets on the bus...I have to really try and be good with picking after dinner. I went a little overboard last night.
 
Hey!! I started watching what I eat and exercising yesterday. I did 3 miles on our treadmill, a mile on the elliptical and then weights. I worked out for an hour. I also watched closely what I ate and drank plenty of water. :thumbsup2

After I get both kids to school this morning I'll be headed in for another work out, no weights today though.

Come on over the The Wish board guys.... lots of people on different plans over there, recipe swapping, exercise challenges etc! :thumbsup2
 
I think the WISH board is great, don't get me wrong, but if this had been over there, I never would have started on my diet yesterday!
 
I just renewed my WW online last week. Weight Watchers is making a killing off all us DISer's!
 
Check out the workout for treadmill in Womens Day this month, its intense at 4-4.5 miles per hour speed. but its quick and tough, combines stretchy band things too for some resistance! Thats what I'm doing after the bus comes!!!!

I agree. I have been to the WISH board but this caught my eye here.

No cheating for me yesterday. Now lets see how today goes.
 
I am starting on Thursday, March 1st :)
I plan to do the Modifats diet until the 11th, from 12 to 16 I will probably be at a training for work, and they have the best food, but after that, I'll be doing WW!

I will look so good in my bikini by the time I'll be cruising/ at WDW!
 
Coached gymnastics last night and I'm sore!

But got up and did a weight work out.

For breakfast I had. Cream of wheat, coffee, and an apple.

I feel great!:banana:

How's everyone else doing?
I gave up the soda months ago, but cannot (and do not) want to give up my morning cup of coffee. Does anyone think that will make a difference? When the warmer weather gets here I won't want it nearly as much, and in the summer I don't drink it much at all. I only put nonfat creamer or skim milk in it, no sugar. I figured giving up the diet cola was a better choice.
