Anybody else not going again until 2010?

We're planning for end of June 2010, hopefully at Port Orleans Riverside!
We've been pretty much every 2 years since 2004, we keep saying take an extra year to save......but we just can't do it!!!!
Therefore, the house is desperately needing decorated, the garden is in dire need of landscaping - but we have Disney to save for!!!!!!!!!

I have a completely different problem from everyone else and its so awful for me as my DH is fed up with Disney and we have 520 dvc points which we have to rent out. I am hoping to get a trip in as soon as our DD finishes her GCSEs in June 2010 as I thought we could get a cheap flight which might motivate DH, however my best friend is having her 40th at Disneyland Paris in July 2010 so could be too much Disney for him all in one go!!!

So seriously at the moment I will be lucky to get out until 2011. Definately going December 2013 though for my 50th birthday. But that is 5 years away!!! We have a place in Spain so hoping that we can combine this with a DCL trip from Barcelona.

But I am definately miserable with Disney withdrawal symptons. I badly need a cure from this infliction. Help.

God it feels so good to be back on here posting! have been away for so long.

we are planning our next trip 28th aug 2010. planning on staying off-site as normal on international drive. we have friends going with us this year. they are so excited, they have been saving for nearly 3 years now. they rang me new year day at 6am, and shouting were going to florida next year.... ha ha

Yay 2010'ers We hope to be going Oct 2010, I had my frist WDW trip and frist disney holiday in 2006 with my bf and his family. So 2010 will the frist WDW trip for us on our own.... Im soooo excited.... best get saving the pennies

Having read this thread, I am slightly worried that I might have OCD!!!

Although you all seem to have a rough/good idea of where you are staying etc, I already have a day by day itinerary, including which adrs I need to book for both breakfast and dinner - and we aren't going until Dec 2010 - am I bit too obsessed???!!

Although having read all the xmas trip reports about how crowded it is between xmas and new years I might need to mix the itinerary up a bit - and I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to do this now - after all the holiday is now next year!!!

Just to let you know, we were not thinking of going this year but can not resist the offers at moment, 10% off virgin holidays online, 14 nights for ten, half price disney tickets and seems to be other discounts as well. also noticed premium economy seems to have a discount on some dates. There are some good deals. Hope this helps you all.

we are going back in august 2010 for our second visit, not feeling down as we are going to turkey this august to see my mum and stepdad who live out there, not seen them since the begining of last july so we are really excited. when we get back we will book wdw and then the thrill of the planning will begin

We can't go until about Sept/Oct 2010 and I am so sad about it. For the past 2 years we have gone about that time and book 12 months in advance so I have had something constantly to look forward to.

At the moment it just feels to far away. but I'm sure we will appreciate it all the more when it does come round

We used to go every year, but in Dec 2005 we went for Christmas and decided that we should now go every other Christmas. This was due to money and Christmas was the longest break my eldest had from school that was not in the summer. Also I work in a college so get 3 weeks off which means sometimes we can have longer. We started to take it for granted when we went every year and now it is a bit fresher when we go. Also belonging to DVC we have to use a load of points over Christmas. This year we added a Disney cruise using points so none left until 2011!

we are going 1 nov 2010. it will be our 5th wedding aniversary on the 5th. and our 4th trip since our honeymoon, which was our first trip to WDW.

Us too .. We're going Jan 2010 for my DD's 11th b'day .. On the bright side Space Mountain (DD's fave) will be shut this year so i'm trying to keep smiling oh if only it was Jan 2010 not 2009
