Anybody else misplace things?

Usually, I don't worry, because I know "it" will show up "eventually", but yesterday I misplaced a rather large check destined for DS's college savings account from his very Victorian great-grandmother that had come in his Easter card. Believe me, this is NOT the kind of woman you want to call up and ask to put a stop on a check! So as I'm sitting here worrying, one of my students comes up to check out a book and says, "Is this yours, it was in this book?" Yes, it's the check! And HOW did it get in THAT book?!? Hmmmmm....

My DH is constantly misplacing things . . .ever since we had our construction 2 years ago he's completely lost his mind . . .he has no idea where he puts things and then asks me if I know where he put them . . .

Well he is 37 now . . .they say the mind is the first thing that goes.
