Anybody else is having problem getting AP rate checking in on 12/26?

I am still trying to figure out all my options for our upcoming Xmas trip. I currently have reservations at WL for 12/24 and 12/25. However, there is nothing available for 12/26 or 12/27. DH does not want to stay somewhere just for 2 nights and then move. So if I cannot get the other 2 nights, we will be staying at Swan for our entire 10 night stay.

I was a bit surprised that there is NOTHING available for WL, Poly, CR, or GF. AKL only has pool or sav. view rooms available. The pool view room is like $220 or something like and it is even more expensive than BC/YC/BWI standard view rooms.

Because we have Swan reservation already, so I am not really looking into YC/BC/BWI.

I have called for several days there is just nothing available.

People have said that you can add one day each time. However, since 12/26 is the last day you can check in for AP rate, I think I need to get the 2 nights altogether because they will not show AP rate for 12/27 separately, I have to get 12/26 and 12/27 together, is this right?

I called immediately after the rates came out and switched out ressies to get AP discount. They are AKL Savanna though...Our dates are Dec 17-25

Yes, we asked CRO the same question and you would need to book 12/26 and 12/27 together . Anyway, we called last week and you are right, there isn't much available at the AP rate for Christmas week but we were able to get a Savannah view at AKL for $166 a night (including tax) checking in on 12/26, so a little surprised that pool view was $220 - is that with the AP rate?

It sounds like they quoted you on the Deluxe Pool view room at AK. Did you ask only for standard room types? It seems those have been hard to get, maybe ask for a woods view or savannah view for those dates?
