Anybody else doing Mvmcp twice during one trip?

I had originally bought Mvmcp tickets for 11/30 for my family of 5 (me, dh, ds8, dd6 and dd4). But once I re-read all the festivities, I decided to buy tickets for 11/28 too. I figured we could relax more, see more shows AND ride the rides and just incase something wasn't working right, we have another night to do it.

Anybody else going twice during one trip or am I crazy to spend the money twice?

I went twice last December also, and very glad I did! There were some things we missed the first time around and were able to see the second.

Orginally, I bought the tickets in case of inclimate weather I'd have a back up day, but there is so much to see and do we really needed to go twice.

We really didn't need to ride the rides. The crowd was very small during the day, in fact on Fri it was much more crowded during MVMCP then any other time during our trip.

We're going 12/16 and 12/17. I originally bought tickets for 12/17 because I thought we'd be flying in 12/16 and I wasn't sure we'd get there on time. But we bough airline tickets at the beginning of July and we are flying in on 12/15, so I got us MVMCP tickets for 12/16 too. At first I thought we'd try to sell the 12/17 tickets but I decided we're going to both instead!

We've never been to MVMCP before, can't wait!

I've never done MVMCP, but I have done MNSSHP and this year I am doing it 3 times during my trip. Crazy? I don't think so!

We're using our "waterpark strategy": Go the first time very early in our trip, and leave time to go a second time if you want to!

I predict we'll go a second time, because I just found out my DDad is paying for the tickets as part of our Reunion festivities. This is awesome, but moving in a crowd of a dozen people that night might slow us down so much that we'll go again just the five of us. My parents are VERY excited about getting the free group photo!

We bought tickets for 12-7 right when they went on sale May 1st. Now as it gets closer, DW and I are thinking that we should also go the last night we are there. So it looks like the 9th for us. But as posted above, if the weather doesn't work out for one of the nights, we will have the other. Come on December.

This is our first time for MVMCP. We are going 12/2 and 12/3. I just wanted to make sure we saw everything and weren't rushed. If your crazy, then so am I!

No one is crazy. If you are having fun and want to go to MMVMCP every night that they have it then go for it. It will be fun.

We went twice last year. The first night we concentrated on the shows, parade and wishes. The second night, we saw the shows we had missed the first night, and did the rides. This worked well for us and we didn't feel like we needed to rush around the first night. Also, since we got to do the rides the second night, we got to devote more of our day touring to the other parks during the week which allowed us to see more during the week. IMHO, go and have a great time both nights!

I did it twice last year too~ DH isn't crazy about the party so one night I took DD 10, next party took DS 6 and the nights he didn't go he took the child not with me to Disney Quest. Worked great~! Quality one on one special time with each child for each of us~! Plus I don't do so hot at the Disney Quest type games so it was perfect solution for us. Best part too, I got to attend party twice with two of my most favorite people in the world~!

We have neverdone MVMCP before, although we have been to WDW during this time period many times before. This year our kids are DD12 & DS7. I am still not sure if it's worth it to buy tickets since we will be at WDW for 15 days and it' might be a bit much to do such a late night. We have plenty of fun at the parks and will get to see the Osbourne family of lights again this year (we really missed it last year) and I'm not sure it's worth spending the extra money to go. Anyone want to talk me into? I know 2 years ago we really hated that everyone was getting ready to come into the park. We had dinner reservations. Once we got on the bus to go back to our rooms it poured the rest of the night. The parade was canceled and rides were closed. We were glad we didn't pay at that point.

i think this is the smartest plan yet. ive been to mvmcp 2x and there are so many cute shows, i didnt even get to see them all. the parade is so cute also. im thinking about this plan for mnsshp, but am not sure if it has all the shows like mvmcp. looks like i need to post and find out. heres a little tip, we were in front row of the castle for the show there (i believe after the first parade). and you couldnt really see the fireworks the best from there. they were mostly coming up from behind the castle. however the first time we went we were sitting at those picnic tables on the bridge to tomorrowland and had the perfect view. have fun, mvmcp is a blast.

melaniec, i think your kids will love it, theres a special christmas parade and a great fireworks show, and special chritmas performances.when we went they were 360 degrees all the way around us. we also went on space mountain about 5 times with no wait.ame with buzz lightyear. you get a cute family picture for free too. we bought christmas hats and wore them and i have the cutest family pictures.
