We're planning on staying our first night before our Magic Cruise at the airport Hyatt. Just wondering if anyone had feedback on this hotel. Anyone else do this before a cruise? I understand that they will take care of your luggage too...

You put your luggage outside your room by 8:30 a.m. and they will get it on the bus to transfer it to the port, and then you don't see it until you get it at your room. Worked very well. We stayed at the Hyatt, and thought it was hassle free...

Do you have a link to their website? Do they actually offer a shuttle to the cruise from the hotel? In other words, can you fly in the day before the cruise and then stay there over night and they take you to the ship the next day?
Thanks,
DJ

Hopefully somebody will correct me if I'm wrong - but I understand that you still need to go back to the DCL area in the terminal and catch the DCL bus to the Port...

they have you meet in the lobby of the Hyatt and then escort you down to baggage area where the busses are. This is where you can fill out all your paperwork and those wonderful Bahamas immigration cards (if that is where you are going).
See my previous post above a few for more thoughts on the Hyatt. We loved it and will use it again in December for our Magic cruise.

I didn't do it the night before, but the night after, and my husband and I thought it would be cheaper than renting a car for the afternoon and staying elsewhere. Yeah, right! It was over $150 dollars for the night, and by the time we took the shuttle/cab/thing to Sea World, we could've rented a 2-door speck 5 times over! Now, we were not very travel savvy at the time and didn't really know where to get the deals, if there are any to be had. The room was very nice, but I would have been much happier with a Hampton Inn. All in all, it was probably better because we had a red eye going home, so all we had to do was stumble down to the concourse!
