Just thought that the boards are looking awfully quiet today!!!!

Well iam at work and it isn't that buy so just reading the DIS, last night i went to a wonderful fish and chips restaurant in Muswell Hill called Toffs they have won lots of awards ie Egon ronays and Time Out. A must if you know the area. Today at 12 i will be watching the Korea v Turkey Game being from a Turkish background i have my football shirt on and will be cheering, i think we have done soooo well this world cup. If we win third place i will be out celebrating tonight!!!

Tomorrow again i need to come into work for the final game and then rush to the hairdressers and then i am going to my cousin's wedding which should be lovely!!!

Anybody doing anything exciting?

Tomorrow (Sunday) is our local carnival and DW's Brownies are putting a float in - the theme is Punk Rock :)

So I will be up early Sunday morning helping to decorate the lorry!

I'm off work Monday and Tuesday becuase we are having new front and back doors fitted and new french doors to replace out old sliding patio doors

I can then finish decorating the lounge once the french doors are fitted.

DW says she wants laminate flooring fitted in the hall and kitchen as well - she does keep me busy :)

Hi

Tomorrow I am doing a 5km run in Barnstaple Devon for the Tescos Run for Life Charity. I have been training for the last two months but im still dreading it. I suffer from hay fever and we are running aroung a very large park.

Hi,
Just got home from from Wimbledon where I saw Anna Kournikova so I think I will spend the rest of the weekend in a cold shower!!!

Up uintil about an hour ago nothing much happening . . then DH got phoned by our local radio station asking if he would take part in the Sunday morning quiz . . . he did and he's won, so far, a night out at the movies for two . . . and we're waiting to see if he gets the highest total of the day (so far he's got 5/5, so we're hoping noone else does!).

Just got back from Lymington (4 miles down the road) to look around our friend's 150 foot yacht!! Well, ok, not his, but he's been rebuilding it. I can see myself on it off the Gulf of Mexico, but on a grey, cool day in Lymington harbour it doesn't quite have the same appeal:D
