Anybody Calling For Kindani Right Now????

We just called for KV and got our ressie. It was weird. They must have been inundated with calls because we had to wait forever just for the answering machine to pick up with the prompts, but we finally got through on only 1 of 3 phones we had going! Anyone else doing the same thing? I found it funny that no one was really talking about this in the last few days. I wonder if it was a little bit of a ploy to get people to forget about it so there would be less competition for them. HE HE

I am in for 6/14/09. 6 nights Standard View 1BR. I have 170 developer points to use at SSR that I am waiting until November to book for the same week. I needed to make this one just to hold my vacation week. Once I get my SSR week, I will cancel this one and roll over the points for 2010.

good luck!!! We were so crazy, we had all our phones ready with the numbers punched in and pressed send right at 9 and we still had to wait like 5 minutes and only 1 got through. A CM last week was telling me about how no one could request off that day and they are expecting thousands of calls in the first 20 minutes or something crazy like that. He sounded very skeptical that I would be able to get through, but I said that I would try and be the first caller. He thought that was waaaaayyy too funny. I was probably like the 5th caller though. WHOOOHooo! I do hope that eveyone gets their reservation though. Maybe we will be there at the same time. We're slated for May 3-8.

I had issues with the prompts and was not able to get through till 8:05. After I pressed 1 for the first prompt, the phone kept ringing and the second prompt never picked up.

This is the longest predicted 9 minute wait time ever. I am going on 30 minutes.

I think we are ok, There are only so many people who can be on hold at one time, and we are not all aiming for the same reservation periods I am sure.

My MS agent said there is a problem with the computer b/c those of us who bought at Jambo house, now trying to book at Kidani, the system will not convert. IT is there trying to correct it. Do you think she is helping someone else while I am waiting

Not for nothing, but don't you think when they have a big day like this, there would have been dry runs???? Computer glitch or not, it is still alot of time

Just converted reservation from Jambo to Kidani, I guess system is back up!

Took 45 mins but we are in for std studio from 5/21 to 5/30

We got ours finally too. I called right at 9 and got in the queue, then after about 15 minutes the line went all staticy. I had to hang up and redial. So then I was smart enough to do 2 phone lines.

Took another 40 minutes on hold, but finally got through and get our request of 6/7 - 6/13 1 Bedroom SV.

On my 1st call this morning, the office wasn't open yet. I called right back, got an answer and went to the 1st prompt. Then the phone just rang & rang, before finally getting to the recording and the 2nd prompt. I was told my approx wait time was 2 min. Well, 15 min later, I got a live person who took my info. Then I was put on hold because the system was not functioning for the reservations. She asked if I wanted to hold or call back!!!!

Needless to say, I was not going to hang up! She came back and said the system still wasn't working. I asked if it was just her computer, or system wide. She said there had not been any resv's made this morning. That's when I told her that I read posts from people who had been able to complete theirs. She told me "no way". !!! ??? Oh well, I waited, and it finally paid off. At 8:38 I was off the phone, and had a conf# for a dedicated 2 bdrm, savannah view, May 3 - May 8.
