anybody been to Galveston? with a newborn?

We are taking our DD to galveston in a few weeks for a family wedding. She will be 13 weeks old at the time. We are considering going to Moody Gardens, has anyone been there?

Also any tips for traveling with a newborn baby?

I am from Houston. We have taken the kids to Moody Gardens several times. If you are on these boards you must love Disney and Moody has a lot of cool things but in my book, doesn't even compare. Personally, with a baby that young, I wouldn't bother unless you have a lot of time to kill.

There is a very nice RFC in Galveston that has a raft ride inside. Its pretty cool. They also just opened a new Schlitterbaun water park on the island as well.

If you are flying i would give the baby a bottle (or nurse) on take off and landing incase the alt change bothers the babies ears.

The weather is hot and the mosquitos are really bad right now.
