Anybody been in September

Were going to Florida in September and DH is worried that it won't be very hot when were there. We will be there for 3 weeks 3rd to 24th september, Please could someone let me know what the weather is like at this time of year

Been in September and the weather was lovely and hot. My SIL was there last September and the weather was perfect. Hardly any rain.

we were there on 18th sept to 3rd oct last year and every day was hot it was 97 degrees one day when we were in mgm, so i wouldn't worry about it it's gonna be hot hot hot!!
also the parks weren't that busy and on oct 1st they put pumpkins out around wdw.

We went in September in 1991 and 1992 and it was very hot. I cannot remember the temperatures, but even at 11.00 at night it was still VERY warm in shorts and t.shirts. First thing in a morning was also very hot.

When we went in 2000, we went in October and could not believe the difference in temperature first thing in a morning and once the sun had gone down, although it was still hot during the day.

As a previous poster mentioned, we hardly saw any rain when we went September either.

We go September most years and the temp is regulary 85-95 degrees every day.

the only downside is that it does tend to rain most afternoons at about 4.00pm but for only half and hour or so.

Hi,

As we don't have any children we usually try to go in sept because it isn't school holidays.

The weather is usually great, like someone said a little rain usually around 4pm for 15-30mins or so.

The parks are usually very quiet, and you don't have to queue much for the more popular rides.

we had our first family visit in sept 2001, our timing werent the best as our first days was the 11th! which meant we were all evacuated back to our hotel.. the weather was not to good either , we reckon that out of 21 days we had 17 days of rainbut this was due mainly to a huge tropical storm that was sitting over florida at the time. At the end of the day you are going to orlando and id rather it be raining on us there than at home!

Thanks for all your help I can't wait too get there now I'm not too bothered what the weather is like for the first two weeks but for our 3rd week we are going to Indian Rocks so were hoping to lie around on the beach so i hope its hot and rains very little:thewave:

Been in September and like everyone said it's very hot. Just another point though, humidity goes through the roof
