any1 going in december 17 2005 on the west

I think the 75 day mark is 10/3.

For Castaway Club member, the 90 day mark was 9/18.

 We made our final payment yesterday! Well, we asked Disney Visa to make our final payment, and I'll pay them in mid-November :rotfl2: But as far as Disney Cruise Line is concerned, we're paid in full!

Now someone help me figure out what day it is when we're 75 days out so I can make my reservations for various things online.......... I'm calendar challenged today!

OK, so I get 1 child healthy, and another gets sick! AAAAAAAAA! I could really use some sleep around here! DD5 (Katharin Ruth) is feeling much better, even went to ballet last night. DD11 (Victoria) came down with it on Wednesday. Thank goodness for great friends who helped shuttle my kids to the places they needed to be this week, so I didn't have to take sick kids out. Thankfully, DS8 hasn't come down with it yet. I have him on some homeopathic stuff to prevent him from getting sick. He's in a play at the local community theatre, with no understudy and opening night in less than a week! I even had to miss a meeting with our cruise bunch due to this illness on Sunday! :sad2: Oh well, this too shall pass.I console myself with the knowledge that hopefully by getting sick now, they should avoid it in December!

Thanks Mike! I'm putting it on my calendar, although I'll actually be at WDW on that day. We just have a Grand Cayman excursion to book and also register the children for the Lab. We are trying to decide between these three for the Grand Cayman. If anyone has experience with any of these, could you share pros / cons - or even just how you and your family decided between them. FWIW, it's me (41), DH (49), DS#1 (9 1/2) and DS#2 (8).

I paid mine back in August and just checked my reseration on the DCL site, doesn't show any balance.

Thanks for notifying us...I just checked my reservation which has been PIF for a month, and is now showing a balance. OK, I understand port charges going up, especially with the hurricanes, but don't you think DCL could have notified people?

I assembled this information from several different sources. I can't promise it will be 100% accurate by the time our cruise sails, but it should be close.

OK, I just spoke with somebody in guest services. Key West has raised their port fee (what they charge the boat to dock there). No information has gone out about this yet, becuase people who were paid in full are going to be adjusted this coming week. Those who had NOT paid in full yet, will have to pay the difference.

DCL did not even notify travel agents about the increase.

We checked this morning and our room had the increase posted, but the other rooms in our group havnt been notified yet. We will check them in a couple of days.
I'm on my way to Epcot and try to meet up with Cindy from our cruise. They are going to be there this afternoon. It will be fun to meet someone ahead of time, if we can connect. Wish me luck!

Cindy,
It was great to get to meet you and your family. Your boys are really cute.
I'm sure they will meet my grandson Andy on the cruise in the club. maybe i will be able to get him to come to the meeting time and he could say Hi to your sons . Then they would recognise each other in the clubs. My GS is use to talking to kids he doesnt know. He has been in different activities since he was very young where he was put into situations with kids he didnt know, so he's pretty good about talking with other kids. But probably not while grandma is watching.
I hope you had a safe drive home, looking forward to seeing you again, on board the Magic, very soon,

I am so glad you all got to meet. How fun!!!!! Was Epcot busy? We are going to disney this coming Sunday. So far for Sept none of the parks that we have gone too have been busy. How was Soarin? My kids can't wait to ride it.

Have a great day
Tami

Well I did it. I finally found myself a pirate costume. We are set for the costumes now. We have our signs done, REAS is booked, tshirts are done, now we just need to back, LOL. Can you tell we are ready?

Can someone help me and teach me how to post pictures on here? That way you can see our stuff.

Thanks

Tami

Hi Tami,
Epcot was a little busy, but that was because they had a triathalon going all morning and they actually run through the park and around the worlds. Sl half of the walkway was blocked off. But the parks really arnt all that busy right now. We walked onto everything we wanted to. If you get there after it's been open for awhile you will want to get a fast pass for soarin. Since it is new, that is where everyone goes. It's a great ride, you'll love it!
no matter what time of year it is, Magic Kingdom is always the busiest on saturdays, and the least crowded first thing sunday morning. Last sunday we got there about 9:30 and we walked right on every ride we wanted throughout the entire park. It was great. Space mountain had a 20 minute wait, but they do have fast passes for it. But in the summer it would have been 75 to 90 minute wait for it.

Sorry I cant help you post a picture, I dont know how to do that either. My son always did that stuff for me and he moved out almost 2 weeks ago, so I'm stuck until he comes to visit, then I will need to write down instructions on how to do it. good luck!
Hope you have a great time at disney,

The girls are wearing the top one. I bought all of them on eBay. You can go to www.photobucket.com you can sign up for a free account and then you can post pictures. Very easy. I will post our signs later today, Got to get ready for work now

Thanks Kathy. I am glad you had a great time.

Hi Tami:

Love your costumes but I was very surprised to see what you had got for the girls. It is exactly the same as I bought for Caileigh. I got hers off of ebay as well. It is such a cute costume. I think my DH's may be the same as your DH's as well. I ordered it from Disney Direct and it is in the mail now. Yours is really nice too. Mine isn't the same as yours though. I actually just got a skirt and top so it isn't actually a pirate costume but I thought it would be fine. I have all of our pirate costumes except for our second oldest daughter. She is just going to find some kind of top to wear with black pants. I got our eye patches on the weekend.

I was up at 5:45 this morning to book our lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table for Christmas Day. I actually got it booked. Now we have breakfast and supper there on our anniversary and lunch on Christmas Day. I have been so lucky to have got both those days (exactly as I wanted) because I been reading a lot on the Internet about how so many people don't get the day they want and you have to just keep trying for a different day. I called the second they opened both days and was on hold for 15 minutes.

I wish I had things as in order as you do there but I just seem to be swamped in work this term. I teach fulltime during the day and then by distance in the evening as well as teach dancing so there is just always something else I have to do. We have laid out some ideas for the door signs but I haven't actually done any of them. Must try soon.

Take care,

So we're walking through Innoventions on Sunday when this couple approaches and the woman says "Cindy?" -- and it's Kathy and her DH! It was so fun to have a pre-cruise meet :) My boys were a bit shy and didn't want to stand around while the grown-ups talk, so they went off to do this robot thing, but it was so nice to meet a fellow-DIS-boarder and especially a fellow-cruiser!

Kathy - thanks for telling me where the pirate costumes were in Mouse Gears - Nathan will need a Medium which they didn't have - but at least I know what size to get him now for both Halloween and the cruise. Zachary wants the Captain Hook one and I know I saw several in other places over the weekend; I'll actually be back at WDW this weekend... which reminds me I need to adjust my sig line after I post this.

Cindy,
Before you go back to WDW to buy pirate outfits, check out www.disneydirect.com They have the same costume you saw at Epcot on sale, not sure of the price and Captain hook's costume is on sale for $19.99 It's free shipping and handling too. I bought the cinderella dress for my GD and she loved it. It was identical to the ones at Disney accept it was $24.99 instead of $60. The quality was the same identical dress.
I just thought you might like to look before you go to WDW, I believe it took about 7 working days to receive my order. They do have a size chart to look at, but since you know the size already it shouldnt be too hard to get the right size. You can exchange or return costumes as long as it's before halloween, just in case.
Kathy

You are all the BEST! - My dd & I are inspired!! We are so excited about the cruise - we have been on e-bay for the past 2 days checking out pirate costumes - wigs & accessories. It sure is easy to get carried away :cool1:
We have a family theme going and Lori (dd) is going to convince Chris (her dh) to wear the dreadlock pirate wig!
