any1 going in december 17 2005 on the west

I have a picture of GS with the dredlock pirate wig/hat on at WDW in August. It's a great look for a guy. Tomarrow I'm going into town again to see if i cant find some pirate stuff since most people have halloween stuff out now.
I'm glad to hear others are getting as excited as we are. Each time we cruise I get more excited than the last time!!! I cant wait to go again.
Time is flying by. :hourglass

See everyone soon,
Kathy

I ordered the pirate costume and the Captain Hook costume from DisneyDirect -- the Captain Hook one was the same price that I saw it marked down for at WDW, but the pirate one was $15 less at DisneyDirect than at WDW. Plus I ordered enough stuff to save $10 (use the code HalloweenFun to save $10 on a $50-plus order). So I'm excited about getting the costumes in and seeing how they look on the boys!

Just think - we're getting really close to the 75 day mark!!!!!

:cloud9:

EGADS! We had fallen to page 3...can't have that!!! :earboy2:
Just got back from swimming lessons...gotta make sure that the kids are ready to snorkel! Both girls are FINALLY over this gunk, although the cough is just hanging on! I'm tempted to give the 11 yo some of the 5 yo's asthma meds to knock it out.
I've got to seriously start planning what I'm going to send on ahead to our room ( for the munchkins), and thinking about anything I have left to purchase for the trip...it's getting so close, I am beyond excited!!!!!!

That is too funny about our costumes. Out of all them out there. LOL
My DH has not tried his on yet. He went out of town to golf for a week. I can not wait to see what it looks like on him. I think my looks great. The kids can not wait until Halloween to wear them.

Less then 80 days till we cruise

Hugs
Tami

Here are three of ours. I am still thinking about doing one for DH and I. We are going to add the mickey head paint chips with our names on them and some balloon ribbon also.

You signs look so great, Tami. I love your Christmas Disney pictures. What website did you get them from? I have started to work on mine but haven't got too far yet. I must set some time aside to work on them one of these weekends.

Take care,

I assembled this information from several different sources. I can't promise it will be 100% accurate by the time our cruise sails, but it should be close. . . .

Thanks for this summary! Please let us know if you learn of changes as we get closer to our cruise.

OK, 75 days out! Who was up at 3 a.m. this morning to book Palos?

I made final payment yesterday. My husband was still wavering on whether we should go, so it is nice to have definite plans. I was able to get a Palo Dinner on Sunday at 8:30. There were other dates, but I didn't want to dine there on Formal nights or Pirate night.

There was only one brunch reservation left and that was on Sunday Key West day as well. I booked it but I think I will have to try and change it to another day. Is it offered on Thursday as well?

Great signs. I don't know if I will have time to make one.

Hello all! I have not been around lately - travelled to Tampa for the office last week and am off to Fargo, ND tomorrow morning for a conference. It is time to send out an updated spreadsheet to everyone with our additions and any corrections that I needed to make.

If you are new (or lurking, come on out now), send me your names, children and ages, special celebrations etc along with your email address and I will add you to the list and send you a copy. Target date to send will be 10/15.

Stay well, enjoy your fall and 10 weeks from Saturday it will be our turn!

Hi everyone,
My husband just called and said he had a surprize for me, and he thought he'd better tell me before thursday.
He booked us a category 4 on the Wonder this weekend! :cheer2: :cheer2:

So now I have to get busy packing, that's only 2 days away!!!
I had our birth certificates in my hand before we got off the phone, my suitcase is laid out on the cedar chest and I'm ready to pack!!

My only regret is I dont have my pirate outfit ready yet, pirate: guess we will wear our pirate t-shirts and the bandanas they give you at dinner.

I'll post when we return.

Oh, my gosh! Lucky you! I wish we lived close enough for impromptu trips like that. And if would be nice if DH was of the type to plan neat surprises like that, too. (DH is great, just not good about planning vacations.)

I just got back from a 5-day, 4-night trip to WDW - the last one before the Cruise. I saw several people where DCL t-shirts and I talked to as many as I could - everyone said "You will LOVE the cruise!" I also tried to finish up any Disney-related shopping I wanted to do - I found some GREAT slippers at the World of Disney for 1/2 off (plus 10%), so I got them as I'll want them for the Cruise (as well as this winter). And I got a new t-shirt for me and DH.

The boys' pirate costumes arrived yesterday from Disney Direct - I haven't opened the box yet, but we'll do that tonight. I can't wait to see how they look on the kids! Now to find something for me and DH.

I know there are instructions for door signs in another thread (or maybe even earlier in this one) but I'm too lazy (and swamped!) to hunt for them... could someone post here directions - such as what I need to buy at the (what kind of) store, etc. to have the right materials before making my design? Thanks!!! (mwha - mwha -- that's big kisses!!!)

Good morning everybody. My name is Rachel. Most of my family and I will be cruisin' with you guys this December. It will be my second Disney cruise. I think it is number (help me out here Mom) 15 or so for my parents. They kinda have a habit of going on cruises for the weekend. Man, I wish....
anyway, I've read through most of the posts here and seems like I will be cruising with some great people. Mom (mom x4,grandma x4) tells me that she has already met a few of you. Feel free to say "hi", I don't bite. If anybody has children in the 6 or 3 year old age group, I have children who would love to meet yours onboard & make friends. Count me in for 3:00 in the Promenade.
Rachel

Hi Rachel, I just wanted to say welcome to the group. Our children are pretty much the same age, my DD will be 6 and my other DD will be almost 3. I'm sure they will have a great time meeting all the kids. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and we'll meet you soon.

Hi everyone!

My family will be joining you on the 12/17 Magic cruise. This cruise is a first for our children (DD 11, DS 8) and they are ready to go! They will miss about 6 days of school, but they're good students and the schools are willing to work with us.

My kids will be so thrilled to know there are lots of children their ages that will be on this cruise. . .what a relief for us. Looking forward to meeting lots of folks from this board. DH and I have never sailed on DCL, but have been on Carnival and Celebrity. I just know we'll have a wonderful trip because all the posts sound like they come from wonderful people!

Thanks and see you in a couple months!

belle'smomma.
Welcome to our cruise. Our group has been growing a lot this past month. We are all planning on meeting on the first day at 3:00 in the Promenade lounge. I hope you can join us there so we can meet you face to face.
I'm sure your kids will have a "Magical" time on board.
Got to go, I leave tomarrow for a 3 day cruise.
See you soon,
mom x4,grandma x4
