any1 going in december 17 2005 on the west

I didn't get on the computer last night but am currently waiting for what must be your picture to download. It is a HUGE file, not web ready so it will probably not complete downloading until I can get back on here after I get back from PS with DD. I'm on dialup so it takes a while for those big ones. We still aren't sure if we are going to the inlaws this weekend so it could be Monday before I get the info on the site.

Welcome to the group!

Welcome Chris,
Wow, thanks for the report on the family. Sounds like you are a fun group. My daughter Lauren will be 6 and is always looking for playmates!! She is my social butterfly.

Welcome Colleen,

I hope your school schedule works out! We have to take the kids out of school for 2 days (the Monday and Tuesday) to take this cruise, but the price was so great, it didn't take my consideration.

From another Colleen!

Welcome Chris and Colleen!

I was luck about school. Here our last day is Friday, Dec. 16th. But will probably take DD (8) for 1 or 2 days to spend her Birthday on the 16th at WDW. Can't wait!!!!

Chris looks like one of my DDs (8) will be in the club with one of your DD(9). I can't tell you all how excited I am to be going. I haven't been this excited over something in along time. :rockband:

Thanks for the welcoming! I am getting so excited!

As far as school, I am hoping our last day will be Dec. 16. Then we can fly down that night or afternoon if i can swing it. Unfortunately missing school is not an option as I am a teacher and we are not allowed to take the day off before a holiday. :(

I have an 8 year old daughter too who will be in the kids club! (She'll be 9 when we cruise).

How do I find out rotation I will have? I thought that was something you found out after checking in on cruise day. I'd love to know. But I'm not paid in full yet, does that make a difference?

Renae,

You don't find out your rotation until you board, but you can request your TA to put in on your reservation. You booked through cruisequick correct? Just email them and ask them to put it on your reservation and hope for the best!

Maybe if we linked some of our reservations we may have a better chance, at least we will all have the same rotation. What does everyone else think?

Colleen

Colleen,
That sounds great to link, but I have the late seating. What about everyone else? Early or Late?

Do you prefer the late seating? Or was that all that was left? The majority of us have the early seating. If you have the late seating you can always waitlist for the early. You can call you TA again and request that. Normally, there are a great number of cancellations before final payment so you may get in.

Your chances may be even better if you are linked with those of us who are in the early seating. Not sure, but worth a try! :D

Colleen

Hi everyone. We will be joining you in December.
For quick reference, I am Fonzy's mom. I know she posted at some point.
Anyone with first seating in our rotation will probably be able to spot us right away. We are traveling with a group of 15 people!
Anyone else from Oregon cruising?
Campcoach (Marie)

OK, I have received a couple emails while I was gone this weekend. If anyone has an email address starting with Dacribb it was blocked due to a virus being attached to it so I don't have that. I did receive coinkc's info and will be posting that along with the two others I got last week tonight after putting the kids to bed, and making dinner, and trying to tackle the laundry. :(

Welcome Marie,

Glad to have your group aboard! Should be fun planning, stop by often and post, it will be great getting to know everyone before hand!

Colleen

Well, there are now cat 10s available for 872.12 more than we booked for back in October.

Ok everyone...I have updated the website with three more families!!! This group is really growing!

Colleen, when we adjusted our reservation on the ship 12/4 there was only late seating available. It is all that is available on all the late November & December sailings now. :( We are looking at other weeks because our friends may not be able to cruise this week & the more we look into WDW this time of year the less interested we are in fighting the crowds for as much as it will cost us. I will let you guys know before we let go of that SPH though. ;)

Is there room for 6 more? Just booked using our DVC points this morning and boy, is this a full ship. There will be DH and myself, 3-DS's and DS's GF. I have sailed on the Magic 4 times but this is my first Western and I am really looking forward to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Lisa - I will send you an email, minus the picture and send that later.

Welcome Glindamood,

Oh, yes we should be able to squeeze you in someplace! :Pinkbounc

Glad you booked. Were you able to get the cabin category you wanted? Did the CM/TA comment on it being a full ship?

How old are the boys?

Colleen

Colleen - Thanks for the welcome. I was hoping for category 10's but all they had left were 11's in a point range I was willing to do anyway. Next higher may have been a Cat. 7. I won't get my soapbox out regarding DCL and DVC - we are on and that is all that matters.

My boys will be 24, 22 and 16 when we sail! Gee, I didn't think I was old enough to be their mom
