Cindy, yep--you guessed right! A Gator. Over my life, I have found that even 'noles can be nice people (please don't tell that to Spurrier). Actually there is only 1 or two times during the year that I root against the 'noles, depending on if we meet in a bowl game or not.

LOL - I've met some Gators who are pretty nice, too, as long as it's not at a football game ;) And of course being Disney fans overrides any football rivalry, right?! hee hee. DH and I are both FSU grads.

You are right there.

To the Group--By the way, I saw that there was some webpage being developed in the early posts? Anyone know where this can be viewed? If secret, please email me with the information. I will be glad to provide information that the webmaster may want.

Jim,
I think your refering to the cruise list we have.
PM Glindamood and she will send you a copy.
It lists our names, ages, kids names and ages, early or late dining, our room numbers, some listed their e-mail addresses, and some have included any special occassions they are celebrating, such as birthdays, anniversary, college graduation, etc... and anything else you may want to add.

at one point, somebody was running a web page for us, but due to other committments, had to abandon ship. Nobody volunteered to take over the site when IVillage went offline, so the site disappeared :confused3

Jim and Nicholas, Nice having you and your familys aboard.

I can not believe that we leave in 7 days. Holy smokes! I do have 2 bags packed already. I have my shirts ready and dd(9) ready to pack. DH is on his own. I will go back and recheck his though, :rotfl2: .

We will be at the port by noon probably earlier because once the kids wake up they are going to want to leave. We only ive about 35 minutes away from the port. I know what I will be wearing. I will be wearing a green short sleeve shirt with Dumbo in the front. I have short blondish hair that slips up in the back. I am 5'3 and weigh *&? :rotfl: . That is all I have planned out so far. I could tell you what I want the girls to wear and they would change their minds ten times before we leave. DH is up in the air, I have no clue what he will be wearing.

Well I am off to read some messages.

See you real soon,

Sorry to not read all the posts but for someone who may have, what is every one going to do in Key West? I will not do any excursions. Are people just walking around or driving around?

Thanks!

We're just doing a walk-about in Key West. I checked the forecast for tomorrow and it looks like in the 70s, so that will be comfortable if it's the same way next week. We figure we'll eat lunch, get off the ship for a few hours and then return around 5 as we have main seating for dining.

We are just exploring Key West on our own. I've read it is a 20 minute walk to town from the port or a short taxi ride. Lots of things to see there.
We may get tickets for the train there so not too much walking for us. we'll see after we get there.

WOW Only a week to go!!! I'm ready to go!Today Disney Rocks (sandra ) and her family are exploring WDW for the first time. They have great weather for it.
We have lots of great descriptions of people, so hopefully we will spot a few of us before we board the ship. I have all the descriptions written in my notebook to take with me, so if you see a middle aged woman starring at you and checking some notes, it will be me. I dont trust my memory with this many of us going.
see everyone in a week,
Kathy

Kathy - I decided today - I'll be wearing jeans and my gray Minnie Mouse t-shirt - it's got green glitter all on it.

I got started packing today - things I won't need for the week for work or school.

Thanks Cindy,
I'm sure that will make it a lot easier for people to spot you.
I know it will for me, even though we have met before it can be hard to spot people with so many people running around in the terminal. It is a big room.
I'll bet your boys are getting pretty excited by now!!
See you in a few days,
Kathy

How is everyone doing? I have DH's suitcase packed (whiy is his always the first one I do?) and am ready to start mine. I started a checklist as I put stuff in so I would not be panicked tyring to remember if I packed something.

Snowing a little here - and a chilly 18 degrees. We have a 2 hour drive to the airport Thursday after work - weather reports look good not but that could change. Friday and Saturday weather in Florida looks good so far - 70's. I will take it!

Well, off to do the next suitcase. Take it easy this week and see you in the Promenade Lounge Saturday!

Gail,

I have printed out the new list of members. I have some questions. Under Kathy's (momx4, grandmax4) you have cabin numbers 5132, 6045 and 6547.
Our cabin is 6547. I also have written down that Kathy's cabin is #2574. I may be wrong with that last one but if Kathy can verify those cabins for us.

Thanks for the list Gail

hugs

Tami,
We used to have 6547 for our daughter Rachel who had to cancel a little while back and I dont think I remembered to tell Gail about it. We have had so many changes since we first booked this cruise.
Our daughter Marie and her family do have 6045 and we have 5132.
Hope this clears it up for you.
Sorry i forgot to give Gail the facts that Rachel had to cancel at the last minute.
Kathy

Hello from Florida. We spent today at MGM Studios and had the pleasure of meeting Kathy's daughter-in-law. Tomorrow it is off to Cinderella's Castle for breakfast and then a day at MK. See you all soon.

Sandra

I hope you all love the breakfast tomorrow. It is supposed to be wonderful. I am glad you are having fun.

See you Saturday

Hugs

OK, it's official...my house looks like it threw up!!! I got about 98% packed last night...I've thought of a few other things as I was lying in bed, and now I have to check my lists and make sure everything made it in...UGH! We managed to contain the chaos to 1 suitcase for WDW, I suitcase for shoes/toiletries, 1 garment bag, and 2 other suitcases...for 5 people for 10 days, I figured that's not too bad. Then of course there is the backpack that I'll carry around WDW, adn DH's camera bag which needs it's own zip code!
I *think* this is what we'll be wearing for boarding: jeans and t-shirts obtained at MVMCP. DH and I will have mickey/minnie ears on headbands, and the kids will have their ballcaps with ears. I have shoulder length brown hair. DH has brown hair w/a lovely large white spot at the front
2 children look just like us, and 1 does NOT!
We leave tomorrow, so if I don't post again before then, see you all on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc   :cheer2: :cheer2: :grouphug:

Hope everyone is doing well and staying sane. I generally hit panic mode a day or two before we go but maybe I won't this time. I got DH and myself packed yesterday. I had a list and crossed items off as they went into the bag and hopefully I won't have to tear a bag apart looking for something to be sure I packed it. I still need to do our day bag but that is all. I will help youngest DS with his tomorrow night (band concert tonight) and the older boys will pack for themselves.

Stay well everyone - safe travels to those leaving early and all that are going (or already there) to WDW have a blast. We had such an easy embarkation last time I don't think we will even arrive at the port until about noon so I will see you all at 3:00.

Last week I told myself that I would just wait to wrap holiday presents after we get back on the 24th so that would be one less thing I have to do before the cruise. Well guess what? Instead of packing yesterday afternoon, I wrapped gifts - but it's all done and now I won't have to do it when we get back :)

I'm partially packed, and I've started with the children's things. I won't have much time til Wednesday for more packing - 2 school projects due by Wednesday, plus our usual TKD rush in the first of the week. But I did go get $1's and a roll of quarters today for use on the ship.

Anyone know what's playing on the Magic this week in the movies? We saw the Chronicles of Narnia on Saturday and DH said he wouldn't mind seeing it again.
