Any word on the tapestry?

What will it look like? News on the "mini Member model"? First name and last name? Husband and wife name? How many names total? Where will it be displayed? When will it be displayed? Colors used? Material used? Total size? Individual name size? Spotlights cascading down upon my name?

Anyone have any info or rumors?

Due to DVC changing the qualification rules from the first 150 members to all sales through 2/28, things have changed. I was told by our Guide that now the Tapestry needs to be either R E A L L Y, R E A L L Y big or the original size with teeny tiny names. Rumor has it that they are going with the second choice and they will be hanging a magnifying glass on a string to enable viewing.

Actually I heard that you will be given a paper with a maximum number of blocks to be filled in. Rumor had it that they will decided the max number of characters based on the family with the longest last name. Then you can have Mr & Mrs....The XXXX Family.....anything you want really as long as it is not offensive...but...only time will tell.

I remember my guide saying that we would receive something in April asking how we want our name written, so maybe more details will come soon. As for the spotlights on your name, I was told that the spotlights were excusively for my family, but I suppose I could share.

You can share the spotlight, but no horning in on my picture hung above the tapestry.

I like that idea! My DH and I have different last names but mine only has 4 letters and his only has 5, so we should both be able to fit.
