Any woc info please

My daughter & I did the WOC dinner at Wine Country Trattoria last month. I really wasnt interested in either the dinner or the WOC, but my daughter was really insistant. How lucky I am that I joined her.
The food was amazing-the salad was to die for. We chose the seafood pasta & the chicken & shared them, they were both excellent.
We left the restaurant at 7.15 & went straight to the waiting area. Glad we did *** there were a lot of people there.
Once inside the ropes we went straight to our Preferred dining section & got right up against the metal railings. We sat down & waited for the pre show, stood for that, then sat again til the actual show. There wasn't a lot of people in our section, so it wasnt a crush, there was plenty of room to sit & wait.
We had a completely uninterrupted view of the show, and let me tell you it was amazing. I had no idea of what it was going to be like & I am so glad that I saw it.
I just hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Thank you both! We have reservations at both places. I just can't make up my mind but I am leaning to the Grotto more.

We ended up going to the Grotto. OMG! Best meal ever! My mother in law was still talking about it the next day. My daughter and I loved WOC. The standing/viewing area was not bad at all.

The picnics are not bad for cold food. It would be nice if they were warm, but it was okay. The main thing about the WoC picnic is getting a FP for the blue or yellow section and don't have to wait in line early morning for a FP. The viewing section for the WoC picnics is in the blue and yellow section. If you want a railing view, guests show up at least one hour until the CMs let the guests in the viewing area for the 1st show.
