Any where to eat at Wonders of Life

The Wonders of Life pavilion is closed. Rumor has it that the insdie of the dome has been gutted and that it will be used for special events such as cooperarte meetings and special events.

I was extremely disappointed during my 2005 trip that the wonders of life was only open seasonally or was under rehab or whatever. When I checked at guest relations upon entering epcot since this was very big on my list, I was told it was 'closed indefinitely'. So when planning my 2006 trip I checked it out again and couldn't even get it to come up on the disney site. Then when we started thinking about this trip I was doing some checking thinking okay it's been 2 years, what have they put in there...and low and behold It came up on the disney site but said open seasonally. So I go checking and found a write up about how it was open November-December 2006. I have my fingers crossed and double and tripple crossed that this place will again be open this Christmas season while we are there. It was only open to help with crowds I guess since only the rides were open, no shops/restaurants etc. But hey I loved bodywars.

It was open December 2006--I guess that was part of "seasonal" but there was nothing to eat inside.

The old restaurant area was still there when the pavilion was open last December, but it was shut down and the area was blocked off.

We were there the first week in Dec 06 and it was closed...

Hmmm, we were there Dec 2-10 and it was open, so maybe it was open only on certain days? Or maybe even certain times? At any case, there wasn't any food or drink other than the water fountains.

FWIW this pavilion has been rumored several times to be "completely gutted" by people who claim to have seen it gutted, and lo and behold, when it opened in Dec. 2006, it was anything but gutted :) it looked pretty empty since few people seemed to know it was open, but certainly not gutted. Like Mark Twain, the reports of its demise were greatly exaggerated...so until I see it on Disney's site I will take the "it's gutted" or "going to be gutted" reports with a grain of salt.

I was there at the same time as Northie and we definitely visted Wonders of Life. It was so empty that had a CM at the end of the walkway suggesting people visit. A real shame - Body Wars is a great simulator ride. The restaurant area was there but roped off and empty. I remember the restaurant being open but couldn't tell you what they served. I don't think we ever ate there.

it was open from thanksgiving to new year's last year. all signage pointing to it had already been removed and it had long been removed from the epcot map. it was listed on the times guide as an exception. it was dead the entire time it was open, no more than a handful of guests at any time.

making of me, body wars, cranium command and the goofy about health were all operating. the exhibits were open in various states of disrepair.

it was clear that the pavilion needed to be completely redone as it was.

it also, incidentally, had always been available as a venue for private events, including use of the attractions, although probably not one of the more popular ones.
