Most of my family lives in the Anaheim area, so I grew going to Disneyland and Knott's every year when visiting, but I haven't been to either in over twenty years.
After telling our daughter we'd take her to Disneyland this week (Thursday and Friday), I was rather surprised to find ticket prices were so much more than I remembered. It seems you are forced to buy multiple day passes now in order to get reasonable entrance fees and they're still pretty expensive (for some of us anyway).
After spending a few hours on this board and mousesavers.com I've found just a few deals, specifically the Kids Free with Adult special and the Adult at Kid's Price special.
Still pricey though and I realized that if we make two trips to DL in a year, it is cheaper to buy an Annual Pass (Saturday blackouts don't bother us).
I have not been able to find any deals on Annual Passes though. Is this because there aren't any?
The other option might be to have family buy those 2fer passes at Vons for us. Do they ever check for SoCal residency at the gate on those? What happens if you get caught?
Thanks.
