Is it really the case that there's no way to modify a resort reservation on dvcmember.com? :confused3

I can't seem to figure it out...

No, you have to call. However if you have enough points you can book a new reservation and then cancel the other one.

I have seen this tip on this board and it has helped me greatly.... It works and you don't lose your reservation.

Using two devices or two browsers, Start booking the new reservation on your computer. Get to the point where it says the reservation is held for 20 minutes. There will be an option to borrow points on this screen. Now, on another computer or browser cancel the current reservation. DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE. Don't search for availability or anything else on the the other computer just cancel the reservation. Go back to the 1st computer and select the "Borrow points" option. Then click cancel. Your point totals will refresh without losing the "hold" on the new reservation.

This tip works if your canceling the whole reservation. I think to modify, as in, cancel only part of the reservation, I think you would need to call member services.

Here,s my best tip. Always plan at least two trips to Disney a year. Then its easier to make a new reservation before you modify old ressie and also find better deals on Southwest Airlines. Also less stressful. Another big savngs is your able to save on admission to the parks by using an annual pass. This has really been working out best for me. By the way, buy more points before you use this tip.

Isn't that really just the best plan? ::yes::
or maybe the second best. My plan is 1 trip to Hawaii a year, plus 2 trips to DL.
Or sub one of those for a cruise.

to the OP - I've always just found a quick call to member services worked best. Then again, i wasn't changing dates or room types, just people.
