Any VISA cardholders actually contacted about free dining?

I just got the email from Disney Rewards with the free dining! $455 per person with a 5 nite stay - August 26th through September 22nd. Missed it again!!!

Is anyone upset that the USA Free Dining Offer is limited to 8/26 - 9/22 when the UK/N Ireland offer covered the period 8/12/2007 - 9/29/07?

I'm quite upset by it. The extra two weeks the UK/N Ireland gets could be the difference between a vacation or no vacation for an American Family . . .

When I called Disney to ask why, they said last year people couldn't get a reservation at a restaurant. I was there last year and had no problems getting reservations. I even made some changes to mine once I was there.
I would have no problem if Disney changed the dates for EVERYONE, but they didn't. They chose only American families to exclude . . .

No notice hear! I rely on disboards. I am even a charter Disney Visa card holder!

I did not receive anything from Disney Visa, surprisingly. I was asked for my Disney Visa card today when I booked my Magic Your Way w/ Free Dining .

I am wondering why-unless Disney felt there was enough buzz and no need to spend the money on a major advertising campaign.

I booked our trip on Sunday and said I wanted the ddp with the Visa offer. THe CSM told me to book and I could addd the free dining today, that is what I did and I made most reservations yesterday as well. I just heard from teh board. I wonder if it will fill with just VISA people?

If you have the Disney VISA, did you find out from them or from this site (or another site)? We book a Sept trip last year, and then free dining was announced. Luckily, I head on this site, or we woudl have paid for it like we planned to.

Just wondering how many cardholders have actually heard directly from Chase about this offer...

I received an E-mail this afternoon from Disney Visa (Chase) regarding the Free Dining plan. Too bad I can't go during late Aug or Sept- it is year end closing at my work- the busiest time of year for me.

I just rec'd an email today, might have come across last night, stated it was good April 9-11th to book- I did know about it from this board prior to the email which would have helped, IF those dates would work for us... sadly they do not!

I found out here. The family that's going w/us got their email from Disney Visa yesterday.

We got an e-mail from Disney Visa announing it for cardholders before it became available to everyone on 4/12!!

I recieved an Email from Visa telling me about the free dining. Too bad I can't use it, our trip is in July instead. I teach and going in Sept. is never an option for me. But at least I'll be there even earlier, I guess!!! Week of July 4th!!!

I got an email from Disney Rewards Visa yesterday afternoon. I had already booked my trip, though, thanks to Mousesavers
