Any updates on possible May crowd levels?

I am a little worried after yesterday - May has always been a great time to visit.....:(

BUT even though MK was SO packed yesterday we walked onto POTC and the Wedway People Mover.....so maybe there is hope!

well I've had no problems changing some of my PS reservations around May 14-21st... so who knows... I'm using tour guide mike to plan when to go to what parks so hopefully that will help.

Magic Kingdom changes the Spectromagic parade on me from Tuesday to Monday which messed up my plans. Glad I got an extra day on our tickets so we can go Friday night... then skip the fireworks and miss the crowds heading back

Has anyone thought that maybe the Disney hotels are booking up more than the off site properties due to the popularity of the MYW pkgs? Where more people are chosing to stay on property who would normally stay off?

I'm in denial, what can I say? :lol

very possible... however there were no general codes released :( *sniff sniff*

I really wouldn't worry about May based on how busy last week was... it was Spring Break for almost all of New England. After a long (VERY LONG) winter most everyone wants to escape somewhere warm.

::MickeyMo I wouldn't go by what the crowds were last week. It was Passover. All the NY public schools were closed along with how many others? Spring breaks are over by now. We went last May and it was wonderful. We're going the 11-21. By then, the spring breaks are over, parents won't take their kids out of school, and it's right before the southern state schools let out. They had added extra magic hours and now they're back to what they originally were. Maybe they were anticipating bigger crowds but now realize that the extra hours aren't necessary. Besides, you can't always go by what the Disney reservations have online. Last December I requested a resort and they said they had none available, but when I called, she said there were plenty. When we called the reservation line, the CM said they haven't noticed an increase in ressies from last year. So, let's all hope! (9 days for us!) ::MinnieMo

Well, my dd goes to a school "down south" and we are taking her out for a week to go because we were hoping it would be less crowded than June. Darn...I hope the Blog is wrong! Darn!

I just looked on Disney site and they have updated May hours, especially for Memorial Day Weekend and others in MK.
Don't know if this is a good or bad sign.
:confused3
Can't wait
