Any updates on Dinosaur Restaurant?

Has anyone heard how the new Dinosaur restaurant at Downtown Disney is coming along? Any updates on the expected opening? TIA!

We are so excited that this will be opening! We are not going until Feb, so I am sure it will be open by then. It is nice that there is something kinda boy specific coming to the world for dining. I am sure it will not be on the Dining Plan, but we plan on eatting there our first night. That will be his special meal, since we are doing lots of others for the girls.

When this opens make sure to send in reviews!

I called DD the other day to ask about this specifically. They said that it will open in the fall, but they cannot take ADRs until it officially has a definite opening date. They speculated October, and we will be there in December!

I wonder if Disney will take the reservations? Do they take Rainforest and Planet HW ressies?

are some restaurants only offered to deluxe dining plan patrons? I always just thought some restaurants just cost more (like 2 sit-down meals) and so they would be more feasible for deluxe...

I think you are right! I just never knew that was on the dining plan at all. My fam wanted to go on our last trip and I was like SORRY! Not on the plan, lol.

I am not crazy about the food there, although we have never ate at this location, but the atmosphere is pretty cool.

I am almost positive that restaurants on the DDp are both basic and deluxe . A 2 TS restaurant costs 2 TS whether you are on basic or deluxe, the difference is with deluxe you get 3 credits a day that can be TS or CS! While the basic is !TS & ! CS!! Also on the ddp in DTD is Capt Jack's. Hope this helps ! I have always got the basic plan but am thinking about deluxe my next solo trip!!

I know they take PH ressies and I think they take all as I have been told that a restaurant isn't yet on the ddp, although I knew that it would be after contract negotions complete. There is a web site that tells you which restaurants are on ddp, justt google Disney dining plan and you should find it.
