Yep, this would be me.

I have all of the Twilight Barbies, have photos of Forks, and have a few other Twilight fan items. I also have a lot of the other books, like all of the color movie guides, and have read Midnight Sun a few times.

:)

I was supposed to see the movie on Monday, but DH and I may sneak over and see it tomorrow, after we pick DS up from school.

DS is not amused by my Twilightness. At age 14, and a HS Freshman, Twilight is so NOT cool to him.

Is your DH going willingly?;)

(BTW, I'm not one.)

If you REALLY wanted to impress me you'd find me a Twilight DAD.

So rare...like sighting Bigfoot!

I've read all the books, I've seen all the movies (none in the theater), but I'm not really a Twilight Mom because I only find them mildly entertaining. However I do have friends that are Twilight Moms - one has only boys, one just had her first baby, and one has a 3 year old daughter (my daughter is 4). My friend who just had her first baby - last year she and her husband took a Twilight pilgrimage to Forks. Seriously.

I'm going to see Breaking Dawn on Saturday with my friend, my first Twilight movie in the theater. I don't even remember what happened in Eclipse, was that the one where someone was building a vampire army?

The only people I know who are big fans at all are at least in their 20s, and more of them are 30 or older.

I read the books but had a hard time getting through the last two. I've seen one movie - mostly just because I never took the time. I'm not a fanatic or a hater. I'm 40 and married, but I'm not a mom.

I'm guilty of the OP's obsession as well. I enjoy it a lot and don't care what anyone thinks. I have been able to get my son to take me to the midnight shows but tonight I just don't feel well enough to go. I'll see it during the day tomorrow.

The way I look at it, it isn't any worse than spending all that time watching sports and reading Sports Illustrated.

I'm not a fan either, not by a long shot.
DH however loves him some vampire movies and when the second one came out agreed to take his granddaughter.
She LOVES telling people that she and her GRANDPA went to a Twilight movie. :rotfl:

Rarer yet is the Twilight Grandpa! I'm married to one!

(he only went so he could have some bonding time with his grandchild. Really. Honest. That's the truth! ;) )

Wish us luck this weekend. Both me and hubby are taking the grandchild and hoping we can deal with all the makeout scenes with her sitting next to us. I suspect we'll all be giggling. ;)

p.s. I don't get it. Really really really REALLY don't get it. My 58 year old school teacher sister LOVES the books and the movie. I really don't get it. But it's fun to share it with our loved ones anyway, even if it flies right over our heads. LOL

I am too!!

It's 12:22am and I am sitting here really bummed that I didn't go to the midnight showing.

Oh, the photos. The people of Forks have really embraced their fame - there is a old red pick-up truck you can take your picture with, a house with CULLEN on the mailbox (which has a note from Esme left on the door), a parking spot reserved for Dr. Cullen at the hospital (Forks Community Hospital), a house that says "Home of the Swans" (might be where the red truck is), etc. They even went to La Push and Port Angeles - there really is a Bella Italia, or at least there is now!

My younger son works a part-time job at a movie theater and I'm sitting outside waiting for him to finish his shift. The people I saw going in for the midnight show were mostly women who looked like they were in their 20s and 30s. There were less young teenish couples than I expected.

My husband likes twilight lol. He would be mad at if I went to see it without him! He would also be mad at me for posting that info in a public forum

I'm one I absolutely love the Twilight series and everything remotely connected to it (would really like to go to Forks.) I do have tween/teen daughters though so I have them to hide behind uh... I mean share this with :rotfl:. Truthfully though we have a whole family of twilight fans. Dh and DS11 might not be as into it as me uh I mean me uh... I mean the girls :rolleyes1 but they do like it. Dh has watched all the movies and read all the books just like me. All the kids have seen all the movies so far. I'm a bit concerned how we will break it to them if after we see it tomorrow we decide they can't watch it.

Nope and I have a pre teen daughter. I had a friend tell me she was going to go see Breaking Dawn and I actually had to look it up to see what it was. So nt into this series and neither is DD thankfully, that way I don't have to sit through it or listen to anything about it. Yep I know I am in the minority.

Nope, not me. And not my 18 y/o dd either. She has a friend in school who is wearing a different Twilight teeshirt every day, and has tickets for her and her mom to the movie tonight. My dd just laughs...her comment is 'And they think this is well written and the movies are well acted?? Seriously??' She read the books, hoping they would get better, but felt they got worse. We both love HP, but Twilight just doesn't 'get it done' for either of us.

Yeah...I think us Army wives had nothing better to do then read the books and so we got into the movies.

My Facebook feed is FULL of ADULT women(with preschool aged kids) and a few MEN:confused: who were So excited!

I will go on Monday morning to see the new movie...

I chaperoned a junior high field trip to Forks and have all of those photos, LOl.
