Any trouble using free flights on AT (from being bumped)?

Earlier this year dd and I took a bump for free flights. Now I am planning on a return trip to Disney next April/May (almost a full year from the original flights). Just wondering how hard it will be to redeem these when AT releases their next group of dates.

You need to check the rules (policies) for use of those free flight vouchers.

Some vouchers do not allow choosing any flight, any destination, any day but rather may be limited to flights that have lower priced seats remaining at the time you book.

Seasoned travelers often don't volunteer unless dollar value vouchers are offered instead of free flight vouchers, or may counteroffer for a dollars off voucher at the moment of volunteering.

+1. I was asked twice on overbooked flights when traveling this summer (UA) if I would be willing to give up my seat. Compensation was a free flight and booking on the next flight out. No way! I would only accept a voluntary bump for cold, hard cash in hand, not a voucher.
