...or is it all pretty much luck? I think I heard somewhere that more dreams are given out earlier in the day...

Is there anything else, though? I really super duper want a dream...:rolleyes1

When my dh and I were there in December, I talked to a dream cast member and she said most dreams are given out early in the day. I spoke to her around noon and she said they were done handing out prizes for the day. I am sure there are other 'magical moments' that happen and certificates that get handed out, but as far as the fast passes and nights at the castle, those are given out early. I have also heard about guests getting free ice cream and things like that, but I think those are some of the little things the regular CM's are allowed to hand out and are not 'official' YOMD prizes. I think the timesand places of the prizes are determined by a computer randomly. The Dream CM's are not in charge of handing out dreams, they are told by someone else what do hand out and where to hand it out. My dream was to hand out a dream or to help hand out fastpasses to some people. She said unfortunately that is not allowed. Everything has to be very aboveboard for the contest....I guess that is so nobody can say anything was unfair or biased. We were never in the right place at the right time to geta fastpass or dream mickey ears, but after we rode PofC I answered some questions about pirates that were written on a small dry erase board. I talked to the CM for a little while and he gave me a magical moment certificate. I know it is kind of silly, but it stil made me feel good. My dh recieved a certificate at Epcot for answering questions about the Beatles in the UK pavilion.

Sorry this got a little long........lol...have a fun trip.

We recieved the free fastpasses at AK. We were the first people in Dinoland and when we went to get on a ride we were given the passes. So this goes along with what others say about recieving things early. Good luck, Sean

We were first in line for Buzz Lightyear and received our photo free, plus a certificate.
Then, the "icing on the cake" was that we turned around, rode it again (planned to do that because we love the ride/attraction) , and got lanyards!!

No wonder we never saw the Dream Team. My family is not early riser. There is no way we could ever make it to a park's opening. Especially after staying for a late EMH.

We recieved two dreams at the end of may one was the landyards with pins and the second was dream fast passes. They were given at 12:00 - 1:00 .
at one mans dream and TOT at mgm.
