I was wondering, this question really to those who have gotten a dream, what were u doing that made a Dream Staff Member choose you for a dream? Any tips ?? haha

Just be at the right place at the right time. Nothing else really matters -- they have a specified place & time to hand out their dream-- you just need to be there!! Don't stress about it, you'll make yourself sick

Our niece is a Cast Member in mgmt. and told us that it is SO random. Like they may say to the team...go to City Hall Square and award the person sitting on the third rocker on the porch to the left, etc.

When my family won a magical moment at Fantasmic we were all wearing matching shirts that had our names on it. The dream team member nearly trip over some people as he made a beeline towards us. I will never forget what he said.. "The Beckham family, I have been looking for you ALL DAY!!" We won special seating at Fantasmic and free snacks. It was wonderful. It was truly magical because he was able to personalize our win.

from what I have been reading, most "dreams" are awarded in the mornings like before 12:00 or 1:00 and Also coming off or getting on rides. We went last year and only saw one dream member. We hope to win something this year. Fingers crossed!!!! Good luck to you! I hope you win!:goodvibes

I "heard" from a castle suite winner to look for the dream team with their vests on and get on whatever ride they are standing around because they are more than likely going to get the winner from there. Her daughter just happened to be sitting on the right horse on the carousel at the right time.

When we got ours we were just getting off of cinderellas caroussel and saw them standing inside the queue. They were handing out pins (I don't know how many but it was quite a few) so my mom got back in line to get one for my dd. They were holding a messenger type back with the dream squad logo on it. So if you see that logo on any cast member, follow them or get in the line for the ride they are at and you just might get something.

Last year, DD and I received Dream Fastpasses at Magic Kingdom. It was around 10:00 a.m. and we were just getting off Winnie the Pooh. You need to exit the ride through the gift shop and we were just entering the gift shop when 2 Dream staff were handing out the Dream Fastpasses. It was wonderful!

our castle stay was based upon my son being on the 10th row of the Tmrr at 10:37am, just dumb luck

I had read here that at certain attractions that don't get a lot of traffic, the CMs will beckon you if the Dream Team is there. The two that were mentioned were Living With the Land and One Man's Dream. When we were at DHS the other day, we passed One Man's Dream a couple times with the CM outside looking bored. Then we passed and the CM was waving people in. I remembered what I read, dragged DH in, and the Dream Team was there handing out Dream Fastpasses.

I was at DHS that day and just missed getting the Dream Fastpasses in One Man's Dreams. I ran in when I saw guests walking out with them. By the time I get there they had just left.

The best advice I can give anyone who wants to win a dream is get to the parks at opening and ride or experience as many attractions as possible. Don't go to the bigger shows with larger audiences as those tend not to produce dreams. Most dreams are awarded between 9:00 and 1:00PM; especially fastpasses, hats, and landyards. The castle stay is also awarded between 9:30 and 11:30. It could be awarded at any park, downtown Disney, and I believe the water parks.

Good luck!

It's be great to win a dream. Never even heard about this until I clicked on this thread.

We were at the DHS the week of the 4th. And we received the Dream Fastpass at Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey. In the morning at park opening.

Last August when my family and I had won Dream Fast Passes at Hollywood Studios (when it was still called MGM during that time) just before you get into the car for the Backlout Tour, winning anything was not even on my mind. So when we did win it was a great experience and a total shock. Finally because we won something if we don't win again during our next two vacations at WDW it's no big deal. I also thought that when we were at WDW in December 2007 and we did not end up winning anything, so it was no big deal.

I talked to my daughter about this, (4 years old) and she said she would start to cry with GLEE (yes that is the word she used) if she ever won ANYTHING!!!

Does anyone know if anyone has ever won on mailing in their name and number??? I have done that now one every day for 2 months...:confused3

We were lucky enough to have several magical moments on our last visit. All three of our kids were chosen to go on stage and train as Jedi warriors at Hollywood Studios. They were sitting on the black mat, to the far right (if you are looking at the stage) near the stairs. My boys still remember everything they learned. They received a certificate afterwards. It was great.
