?? Any tips on Airfare for next June??

Hello,

I am planning a trip for next June, and have never purchased airfare. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions as to getting the best price? When can I buy my tickets? We live in NW Arkansas, so we will probably fly out of Tulsa. I have flown SW, so this is definately an option. Any suggestions will much appreciated!!

I don't know if this will help, but go to www.delta.com and check out their prices. Currently, their prices for our June trip 2003 are fantastic from Arizona; I don't know if that is country wide or not.

We got our tickets for last May's trip on www.orbitz.com which is owned by a lot of airlines and it comes up with great fares, also. They waived the service fee when we purchased since we were first time buyers. The service fee is only $5.00, anyway.
