Any tips for meeting Characters at MVMCP?

Inspired by a similar thread concerning the Halloween Party!

Any tips would be awesome! Thanks!

This will be our 4th time going to Disney in December - and our 4th MVMCP!!! It is so much fun!!!

I've always found the characters are pretty much out and about all night!!!

Sometimes, we just happened upon them just walking out - most of the time, we saw them on the Fantasyland side of the castle - especially some of the princesses! There were a lot of characters, at different times, in Fantasyland!

Most of the time, the lines weren't too long!

Which MVMCP are you going to? We'll be there Dec 9! Can't wait!!!

We'll be at MVMCP on Dec. 7! My girls (and I) can't wait!! What type of attire do most people wear? I'd like to dress festive (not dressy) for the party.... wondering if The Disney Store catalog/online will come out with any holiday Tshirts. I've also heard about the Mickey Santa hats. Those would be fun!

If they are selling T-shirts (or sweatshirts - depending on the weather), I think I'll buy us some matching shirts to wear with jeans. Most people just wear the usual park attire - some have on a holiday shirt/sweatshirt.

I am surprising my daughter at the hotel with a little package each day. Every night after she goes to bed, I'll put out a little giftbag with a surprise in it for her to find the next morning. I'm bringing the party bags from home, along with the tissue paper. (I'll have that packed in MY suitcase) One of the things I have for her is something I ordered from Gifts Of A Lifetime - its a headband with mouse ears and a Christmas hat! It is really cute!!! We also have the Santa hat with mouse ears!

In past years the best treat was having Cinderella's coach set up in the fantasyland castle court. Cinderella and the prince were there in the fanciest attire i have seen them. It was gorgeous. I know Dan Murphy has some great pictures of it, as i stood by him as he shot them !

MVMCP's are such fun, I love them. I think I have been to 7 or 8 the past few years, will do one or maybe 2 this year.

Great pictures, Dan !! Have to get my own pics of that !! We'll be doing MVMCP on the 5th and 7th !!

Did I read that it's possible to find to Snow White and all 7 dwarfs on the nights of the party ??!!!

I don't remember that coach last year and we went to two. It would be hard to miss.

We were there last year too and didn't see the coach! Bummer!

We saw Snow White and all 7 Dwarfs at the MVMCP last year!


HollyJoy ~ Not sure how old your kiddos are, but we waited until after 11pm to go back to Toontown and it was all but deserted, I mean almost no one at all was back there. In the tent, they opened up all 3 doors to the characters and we could just go to whichever room and stay as long as we wanted. We also got lots of great pics, (one to follow) and we'd never got so many characters together at once. It was AWESOME!
