Any tips for difficult to get ADR

Is there a chance I can get a much popular restaurant on the first day of my trip during FD ? I'm stressing over that so much.

I know the strategy is to put the most difficult ADR at the end of the trip (refering to the 90+10 when staying on site) but I need that ADR on DD's birthday, which is the first day we'll be there.
there's no point of getting it later...

I'm kinda wondering the same thing. We are so excited about getting FD, but I'm just wondering what my strategy should be for making my ADR's since we upgraded to Deluxe Dining...I'm afraid that if we cannot get in where and when we want that it may not be worth it for Deluxe?

Although, I never thought of putting the hardest ADR at the end of the trip. Possibly just be sure to get up early the day that you can make your ADR and be a little flexible if you have to?

Make a priority list of where you want to eat on which day and go down the list. Call at 7am (EST) on your 90 day mark. If you are within the 90 days or your desired ADR is not available, call back. Persistence (and a little luck) are the keys to getting ADR's within 90 days. Also, if within 90 days, be flexible with the times. I was able to get an ADR after my date had passed, but it was a little later than I really wanted. I would rather eat at a less desirable time than not eat somewhere that I really wanted.

I agree with the PP, make a priority list of which places you want. Then have an alternate dining place in case that one is booked.

Keep checking back if you don't get the ADR you want. I'd been trying to get an 8am ADR at Tusker for our AK day. At first, all them had was 9:30. I kept trying for several days. Finally today I got 8:15am!!!

So even if you don't get your ADR, keep trying back each day!
