Any tickets available anywhere now without the 14 day expriration?

Might be able to stop by once in October and once in December. But definitely not going to pay for two one-day tickets. Can't seem to find anything mentioned any more tickets available with either the Dec. 2013 or Dec. 2014 expiration dates. Are they all basically gone?

They've really priced people out of 1-day trips . . .

Yup. Pretty much gone. Unfortunately, all of the Orlando theme parks have similar one day rates.

You could look at a power pass. It is probably cheaper than two one day tickets....$199.

If you renew a Power Pass do you get a discount like you do with a Preferred Pass? I have a Power Pass and know the renewal is cheaper than buying a new one, but my mom and husband both have Power Passes, so I was just wondering about their renewal rate.

Yeah...I think the renewal rate for the Power Pass is somewhere in the $130 range. I can't remember the exact amount.
