Any Thoughts???

Just booked last minute trip. Went for the package with "free dining" (I know its not free...but crunching the numbers we still couldn't eat for as cheap as the plan even if we took the gift card promotion. DS just turned 10 so we had to bite the bullet with him. DD is 8. Both are really great eaters and will try anything. Very adventurous. Figure they will spit a TS dinner and get what they want off the child's menu to split. Anyway, I am off point. DH hates hates hates being blocked into reservations while at Disney. We are going this Saturday 11/15 through the next Thursday the 18th. We have been in November before and things were pretty flexible. We would love to be able to call Disney Dining and see if something is available within say an hour of calling. What do you think my chances are of getting anything???? I know people cancel all the time but are there wait lists already made???? Its been a couple of years so I am not as in the know as I used to be! TIA for any replies!

I would make some reservations in advance, just incase. When you get there you can always change it up. At least you have reservations, and some place to eat. Give it up for the South Jersey moms!!!

There aren't any waitlists and with free dining, I think your chances of just calling a couple of hours ahead and getting a spot are slim. I have seen people ask concierge at their resort if anything is open that day for _______park. If it is, they book it and plan their day at that park. That might help your DH feel less like he's locked into something, yet, you'll get a TS meal.

When we were there in June, every day we visited the MK, there was a sign up at guest services stating that all table service restaurants were full for the day.

There will be restaurants with availability..they may just not be where or when you want to eat...good luck.
