Any thoughts on which value resort???

We stayed at ASSp in April last year and we loved it :thumbsup2

Like many have said, the place is basic, but that's all we needed, we never spent too much time in our room as we were always out and about. The pool bar was great too for a relaxing drink when coming back from the parks at night :)

We're heading back to ASSp in May 2010 with the rest of my family this time, so I'm hoping they love it just as much as DBF and I did :hyper:

Have stayed in all of the All Star resorts over the years, but never Pop as we now stay in OKW having purchased DVC. I loved the All Stars and the one thing that I really miss staying at OKW is the food courts at the value and moderate resorts, there's something for everyone at the All Stars but OKW has a hole in the wall serving very few meals.

If I didn't have DVC I would stay at the value resorts much more as they're great fun. I also loved the Caribbean Beach.

Wherever you stay you'll love it as it's Disney:thumbsup2

Have stayed in All Star Music and Pop - Pop takes our vote. It feels nearer to the rest of WDW. The All Stars felt like a concrete jungle to us.

: What are the pools like in the different resorts?
!

The values are a pool,the mods are a pool with a slide and the delux are a pool/slide with a differance

Hi,

We've stayed at Music and Movies and really liked them but this year we're staying at Pop. Hopefuly we'll enjoy it just as much, but to be honest we'll just be glad to be there lol.

::yes::

We've stayed at ASSp twice and a villa once. This year we're going to ASMu - I like the All Star Resorts they are very laid back and you can wander (accross the car park) from one resort to another - something I'd do in the mornings before the rest of the family woke up.

If staying at a All Star Resort you can use any of the pools. Each resort has a "quiet" pool - at ASSp we found this too deep when the kids were younger, and a main pool - much nicer.

Being able to use the pools in all 3 sounds quite good, as we aren't sure at the mo how much time we want to spend in the parks, so we may have quite a few days by the pool and shopping etc...
