any thought on Kiel germany

we have 2 cruises on the bucket list for next year

mine is the british isle--Dh has always wanted to go to germany so Im thinking we should do that one first

the stop in germany is in keil--does anyone know much about the port or how far it is to berlin

I think this year the stop was weidnermyer with tours to berlin

any tips or advice on this cruise

I haven't been to Kiel, so I won't have anything to say about Kiel.

But, the trip to Berlin from Kiel is about 3.5 hours by train with a connection in Hamburg. I wouldn't count on going to Berlin.

Quick search puts kiel at least 4hrs from Berlin. I would look up info on things to do in Kiel vs trying to get to Berlin. Kiel looks to be the Capital of that region of Germany.

Kiel is your port for Hamburg. Check out Hamburg. It's got a lot in common with Amsterdam.

Berlin as a one das port thing from Kiel? um no.

Kiel is actually a nice port town. Or as pp said Hamburg is an option. One of our favorite cities in Germany

I’ve not been to Kiel but I loved Hamburg! Very different from a lot of Germany cities.
