Any Summer Traditions?

Well summer just started yesterday, for me anyways, and I was wondering how you all celebrate the start of summer?

My friend and I watch this movie Now and Then....it just puts us in a very summery mood....and then go out on the patio andl listen to oldies music. (Usually from the 60s)

And of course I eat about 765876476547 popsicles. (I've already had 3 today )

My summer tradition is to buy a ton of movies in one day. I haven't done it yet this year, since my favourite store that sold movies cheap, left.

I only REALLY know it's summer if I've had a Creamsicle or a Fudgesicle.
(I've had both. Way more than I should have )

And for some reason, putting on my air conditioner really gets me pumped for summer, too.

I also love when they start putting on the lame summer tv shows.

Yeah, I hadn't had a creamsicle since I was maybe 10, and I mentioned to my dad how much I loved them, so last week he came home with a huge box of them :]

wow my last day of school was may 15th. The last couple of years I've spent my first day of summer staying up until around 6 am and sleeping until 1-2.

Me and my friends all go to a free concert in early June. That usually kick starts the summer for us.

Then the rest of the summer is spent in somebody's pool during the day, then going to get ice cream at night.

We also make trips down the shore as often as we can.
